Tottenham vs Everton Prediction: Solanke to open Spurs account

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton will both be seeking to secure their first wins of the new Premier League season when the two sides meet in North London on Saturday afternoon (15:00).
Ange Postecoglou's side shared the spoils with newly-promoted Leicester City in their opening affair, while the Toffees suffered a 3-0 defeat at home against Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend. Read on for my Tottenham vs Everton prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.
Tottenham vs Everton Betting Tips
Team News
Rodrigo Bentancur will miss this game after sustaining a head injury against Leicester, while Yves Bissouma could return to the fold for Spurs.
Fraser Forster remains in the treatment room with a foot injury, while Pedro Porro could be absent after suffering a foot issue of his own in Monday's draw.
As for Everton, Ashley Young will be suspended after his sending off against Brighton, and Nathan Patterson will certainly miss out here due to a thigh issue.
James Garner and Seamus Coleman both have calf injuries so will remain sidelined, and Jarrad Branthwaite continues to recover from a groin operation.
Spurs are favourites to win at 4/9 - or a theoretical chance of 69.8% - while Everton are 6/1 to claim their first win of the season, and the draw is available at 4/1.
Over 3.5 goals was a winning bet the last time these sides met in the Premier League, and that can be backed at 5/4, while Dominic Solanke is the favourite to open the scoring anytime at 6/5.
Tottenham to win and both teams to score @ 13/8
Spurs will be looking to learn from Monday's mistakes, dropping points against a newly-promoted side, despite having more than 70 per cent possession.
The Toffees could be ideal opponents for Tottenham to get back on track, as they are unbeaten in their last seven meetings with Everton, winning the previous three home clashes between the pair.
In addition, Everton's away form towards the back end of last season was poor, as they failed to win any of their final 11 road trips in the league - a run that started with December’s 2-1 loss at Spurs.
However, Sean Dyche's side have scored in three consecutive games against Postecoglou's men and they can extend that record on Saturday.
Dominic Solanke to score first @ 9/2
Spurs' new £65m signing will be eager to open his account on Saturday, after landing three shots on target in the draw with Leicester.
The former Bournemouth striker scored in the Cherries' 2-1 win over Everton in March, and if Spurs can create as many chances as they did against the Foxes, then I fancy Solanke to break the deadlock on Saturday.
