Tottenham Hotspur welcome Everton to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in one of Saturday's 3pm kickoffs, as the Toffees seek an immediate response to their disappointing Carabao Cup quarter-final exit.

Sean Dyche's men were knocked out on penalties by Fulham, while Spurs strolled to a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last Friday.

Tottenham vs Everton Prediction

  • Double Chance - Draw or Everton @ EVS
  • Over 3.5 goals @ 5/4

Team News

Spurs' injury woes are well-documented, with Ivan Perisic, Rodrigo Bentancur, Micky van de Ven, James Maddison, Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon all currently in the treatment room.

Yves Bissouma and Destiny Udogie are both suspended for the hosts, but Brennan Johnson could be fit enough to feature here.

As for the visitors, Dele Alli, Vitalii Mykolenko, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Andre Gomes will be absent, but Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young are fighting to be fit.

Match Odds

Spurs are 4/5 to make it three wins in a row, while Everton are 3/1 with the draw the same price.

Both teams to score is 8/15 and over 2.5 goals can again be backed at the same price.

Double Chance - Draw or Everton @ EVS

Since Everton's 10-point deduction, it would have very easy for Sean Dyche to press the panic button, but the punishment seems to have galvanised the Merseyside outfit, with four straight league wins greatly enhancing their chances of survival.

Ange Postecoglou's arrival in the Spurs dugout has been warmly-received with the North London side receiving plenty of plaudits for their expansive style of football, but injuries have dented their early-season form that saw them sitting close to the top of the table, losing three of their last four at home.

However, Postecoglou has never steered away from his attacking philosophy - only Manchester City have had more shots on target, and only Arsenal have more touches in the opposition box.

The visitors are in very good form, and with Spurs' injury crisis, I think playing the double chance - draw or Everton market could be the way to go.

Over 3.5 goals @ 5/4

As mentioned above, Tottenham fans have been on a bit of a rollercoaster so far this term, but they are being treated to plenty of entertaining football and that trend looks set to continue against the Toffees. In their last seven outings alone, Spurs games have featured 27 goals, three red cards and 10 goals inside the final 15 minutes.

Just two of their home league games have failed to generate at least three goals and they were both 2-0 wins over Fulham and Manchester United.

Sean Dyche is renowned for his pragmatic approach, but Everton's 11-goal haul across their past six outings suggest that they're capable of finding the back of the net here too.
