Tottenham vs Manchester United Bet Builder Tips: Goals likely between struggling duo

Tottenham and Manchester United are separated by just two points in the bottom half of the Premier League table, with both teams enduring disappointing campaigns so far.
Spurs have been hit by injuries throughout the season which has severely limited their capabilities while the Red Devils have struggled to adapt to the style of new manager Ruben Amorim halfway through the campaign. These two teams have met twice already this season, with 10 goals combined from their meetings in the EFL Cup and Premier League and this could be another entertaining affair.

Match Odds, Tottenham vs Manchester United
Over 3.5 goals
Tottenham have been one of the most entertaining teams in the Premier League this season despite their struggles.
Ange Postecoglou’s relentless style means that they have netted 48 times in 24 outings but they can leave themselves wide open at the back, which is a major factor in why they have conceded 37 times.
The hosts remain without three central defenders - Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Radu Dragusin - and as a result they have been fielding Archie Gray as a makeshift centre back.
The Red Devils have plenty of injury issues themselves, with Lisandro Martinez suffering a season-ending knee injury and midfield trio of Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer all suffering issues in training this week.
With two battered and bruised teams facing off, this could be a high-scoring affair. They may struggle to replicate the seven-goal cup thriller from December, which Tottenham won 4-3, but over 3.5 goals looks well within the realms of possibility.
Bruno Fernandes to score
Bruno Fernandes has been key to Manchester United throughout his time at the club and that has been especially true this season with the struggles of many around him.
The Portuguese star has scored nine goals and recorded 12 assists this term and is also the Red Devils’ penalty taker.
Against a Tottenham defence which has conceded six goals in their last two games, Fernandes could have a field day and is fancied to get on the scoresheet once more.
Lucas Bergvall to be shown a card
Ange Postecoglou’s style of play asks plenty of their central midfielders and that can lead to them covering large areas of ground without support.
That means that those overworked in the middle can pick up plenty of cards and youngster Lucas Bergvall has been no exception, despite his impressive performances this term.
The Swede has been booked eight times in 14 starts for Spurs this season and looks a strong candidate for another card in what could be an open affair.
