Below are my Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds, as the Cherries chase their first away points of the season.

Team News

James Maddison (knee) is a long-term injury victim for Spurs, while Radu Dragusin, Bryan Gil, Dejan Kulusevski (all knee), Manor Solomon (calf) and Kota Takai (foot) all miss out again, too.

Destiny Udogie (knee), meanwhile, is doubtful after failing to feature so far this term, while Yves Bissouma appears to be surplus to requirements.

Football Odds

Thomas Frank could stick with the same starting XI that served his side so well at the Etihad Stadium last weekend, which would mean Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall having to settle for a place on the bench again. Gray or Bergvall could come in for Rodrigo Bentancur if the Dane opts for a slightly more attacking line-up, though.

Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic was on the bench for the victories over Burnley and Man City, but the 18-year-old sealed a loan move to Hamburg SV earlier this week.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth Stats

  • Four of the last six H2Hs have produced 4+ goals
  • All four H2Hs at this stadium have gone over 3.5 goals
  • Antoine Semenyo (BOU) scored twice in his side's first away game

Enes Unal and Lewis Cook (both knee) remain out of action for Bournemouth, who will also be without the suspended Julian Araujo following the Mexican's red card in Tuesday's 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Brentford, although the right-back shouldn't be too sorely missed as he is yet to feature in the Premier League this term.

Today's Football Fixtures

Ryan Christie and Justin Kluivert made their first starts of the season in midweek, with both players missing out on all of the Cherries' pre-season friendlies. It appears that Kluivert is the more likely of the two to start on Saturday, going by Andoni Iraola's pre-Spurs comments.

"We welcomed back Ryan Christie and Justin Kluivert against Brentford, Justin is quite sharp and is at a good level to help," he said. "Ryan didn't have a pre-season at all and will continue to get better the more minutes he gets. It's good to have them back."

Ben Gannon Doak made his debut for the club against the Bees, but was hooked at half-time, and looks set to drop down to the bench along with most of Tuesday's starting XI. Only goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic, defender Bafode Diakite and midfielder Alex Scott are likely to retain their places, with the likes of Marcos Senesi, Tyler Adams and Evanilson set to return.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth Odds

Spurs haven't beaten Bournemouth at home since New Year's Eve 2023, but the Lilywhites are 8/11 favourites to win on Saturday, implying a 57.9% probability of success. The Cherries, who triumphed 1-0 over the north London outfit on the South Coast last December, are 16/5, or a 23.8% chance, to record a first victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since April 2023, with the draw priced at 11/4.

Richarlison bagged a brace against Burnley two weeks ago, and the Brazilian heads the anytime goalscorer market at 5/4 here, with former Cherries striker Solanke (13/10) following just behind. Evanilson (11/5), who scored the last time these two sides met in north London, is first up in the market for the visitors.

Both Teams To Score & Total Goals Over/Under +3.5 - Yes & Over 3.5 @ 13/8

This has been a fun fixture in recent years, particularly at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where all four meetings have produced at least four goals, including in March earlier this year, when the two teams exchanged four in a 2-2 draw.

Under Frank, Spurs have kept back-to-back clean sheets, following up a 3-0 home victory over Burnley with a 2-0 win at Manchester City, but their opponents this weekend, Bournemouth, are a difficult side to stop when they get going, as Liverpool found out on the opening day of the season. Arne Slot's side were 2-0 up and coasting at Anfield, but the Cherries hit back twice through Antoine Semenyo, only losing 4-2 after late strikes from Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah.

It only took four minutes for Iraola's charges to open the scoring against Wolves last weekend, and they now head to a venue where they have scored on all four previous visits, netting at least twice in three of them.

Certainly, I can see both teams scoring on Saturday, and I'll make a bolder prediction that we will see at least four goals.

Anytime Goalscorer - Antoine Semenyo (BOU) @ 11/4

Semenyo started the season in sensational fashion, netting twice in the space of 12 second-half minutes at Anfield, and looks great value to score again away from home this weekend.

The 25-year-old found the net 11 times in last season's Premier League, listing the two Manchester clubs, City and United (x2), among his victims, but, surprisingly, he failed to fire against Spurs, who have kept him out home and away in the last two campaigns.

However, I fancy Saturday to be the day Semenyo gets off the mark against Spurs, who are likely to find things much tougher at home against Bournemouth than they did against Burnley on the opening weekend.
