Tottenham Hotspur take on bitter rivals Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday (14:00), hoping to put a huge dent in the Gunners' title ambitions, while resuscitating their bid for a top-four finish. The reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium back in September saw the two sides share the spoils in a 2-2 draw as Spurs came twice from behind thanks to their front man Son Heung-min.

With Arsenal's title hopes resting on a Manchester City slip-up more than anything else, they need to be picking up maximum points in the final stretch of matches, but the North London derby is a tricky contest to have at this stage of the campaign.

We have turned to former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson to share his thoughts ahead of Sunday's clash and he has given us his three bet builder tips, using Betfred's #PickYourPunt feature, which has been boosted from 5/1 to 6/1.

Tottenham vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips

  • Both teams to score
  • Both teams to have over 4.5 corners
  • Over 3.5 goals

#PickYourPunt pays at 6/1

Both teams to score

I would love to be able to say how many Spurs are going to win by but I think it's the most difficult game of the weekend to call with the way that both teams are playing. So I've sat on the fence a bit but I'm going with both teams to score as it's derby day, and both sides have a lot of quality in attack.

I think it's almost guaranteed given the way they both play, and of course you need only look at the encounter earlier in the season that saw them score two apiece. BTTS has landed in 75% (24/32) of Spurs' matches in the league season, and a whopping 88% (14/16) in their clashes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The evidence all points towards an entertaining derby at both ends of the pitch.

Both teams to have over 4.5 corners

A selection that I've been liking of late is backing over 4.5 corners in a game. It is a favourable selection for myself as it has landed in most weeks, and in a game such as this, you have to fancy for there to be corners at both ends given what's at stake on top of the traditional bragging rights.

This season, games involving Spurs have an average of 12.03 corners per game, and for Arsenal, their figure is slightly lower but it is still an impressive 9.07.

Over 3.5 goals

I like the look of over 3.5 goals because we saw it land at the Emirates back in September, but also because three of the last five North London derbies in the Premier League have seen at least four goals scored.

This season, 47% (15/32) of Spurs' matches in the league have seen over 3.5 goals deliver and for the Gunners it is just slightly lower at 44% (15/34).

Attackers on both sides have provided plenty of goals this season. Son has netted 15 times for Ange Postecoglou's men, while his team mate Richarlison has 10 for himself.

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka has 14 goals, Kai Havertz has 11 and Leandro Trossard 10. All three have been on the scoresheet in recent weeks with Havertz and Trossard both scoring in the 5-0 romping over Chelsea in midweek, with the former grabbing a brace.

This edition of the derby is perfectly set-up for another explosive contest, and one which I'm convinced will feature a lot of goals.

Bet builder at 6/1 Betfred are running their famed Double Delight & Hat-trick Heaven offer on this match, meaning that if a player scores first and then nets again, you will be paid at double the odds. If he grabs a hat-trick, you will be paid at treble the odds.
