Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses are back in action as they face the Republic of Ireland in this League A Group 3 clash at Carrow Road. England are in third spot currently with seven points, the same amount as Sweden but they are behind on goal difference.
Only the top two spots guarantee places at Euro 2025 and England will need to deliver two strong performances in their final two qualifiers to reach the tournament finals and avoid the play-offs.
It would not be a good look for the defending champions to not finish in the top two of their group, but right now that does look like it could be a possibility for the Lionesses.
Their record isn't terrible, two wins, one draw and one defeat. They are playing Ireland to kickstart this international camp but all eyes are looking ahead to the away trip to Sweden next week which looks like it could be a huge fixture.
Presently, no one is guaranteed a top-two spot. France are only two points ahead of Sweden and England, so the match between Les Bleues and the Blagult can change the dynamic of this group heading into the final round of fixtures, as can England's meeting with Ireland.
For now, the Lionesses need to focus on themselves and ensure they put themselves in the best position ahead of the Sweden clash with a win over Ireland in East Anglia.
Elsewhere, Scotland have confirmed their place in the play-offs but can not be promoted to League A. They are expected to pick up another three points when they face Slovakia on Friday.
Wales are in action against Croatia, with both teams having already confirmed their places in the play-offs. Croatia will be promoted if they defeat Wales. The Dragons will be unable to be promoted if they are beaten by Croatia.
Away from the international scene, there are three League of Ireland Premier Division matches taking place. Waterford, who are third in the table, will be looking to capitalise on their games in hand over top two sides Shelbourne and Derry City.
They are 10 points off the top of the table but will be hoping to reduce that gap when they travel to fifth-place Galway United. Waterford have won their last two matches, while the hosts have failed to win in their previous two outings.
The other games taking places include Bohemians welcoming Sligo Rovers and Drogheda United head to Dundalk.
