Stoke vs West Brom Prediction: Can Albion get back to winning ways?

Stoke City will be looking to distance themselves further from the Championship relegation zone as they host West Bromwich Albion at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday (15:00). They fought back to earn a point against fellow strugglers Huddersfield Town last time out and they now have a five-point cushion on the bottom three.

Team News

Stoke are going to be without duo Ben Pearson and Lynden Gooch, who both have hamstring injuries. It is looking likely that the duo will not feature again before the end of the season.

West Brom have some personnel issues of their own. Boss Carlos Corberan is still without striking options Josh Maja and Daryl Dike, leaving Thomas-Asante as the only recognised forward in the squad.

The two recent draws that Albion have picked up could suggest they are getting complacent with their position inside the play-off places, which could bode well for Stoke, who are still looking to ensure their Championship status.

Steven Schumacher's men have picked up four points in their last two games, which has helped them gain some degree of comfort in the relegation scrap. However, as has been the case all season, they struggle to find consistency in their results which makes them difficult to back.

That is why we like the insurance of this double chance market. West Brom's quality does outmatch that of the Potters, but seeing as they have perked up in recent games, we cannot rule out this one being a draw.
