Table-toppers Tottenham Hotspur will hope to continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season when they host Fulham on Monday Night Football. Below I take a look at a bet builder in order to provide you with some value.

Team News

Spurs are in a bad place in terms of injuries. Christian Romero, Brennan Johnson, Manor Solomon, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Bentancur are all out and yet Ange Postecoglou has been phenomenal since joining this summer.

When those players return, Spurs could be even stronger than they are right now. Meanwhile Fulham are without defensive duo Kenny Tete and Issa Diop, while Adama Traore is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Match Odds

Tottenham are 4/9 to win this match, while Fulham are 5/1. A draw is 10/3 while BTTS Yes can be backed at 8/13.

Spurs to win

Simply put, Tottenham should comfortably win this match. They are an elite side this season and should be able to dominate Fulham from start to finish. With Heung-min Son and James Maddison, they have two incredible attacking talents who should be able to tear apart the Cottagers. Fulham meanwhile are not quite as good as they were last term, and are still struggling to find their way without Aleksandar Mitrovic.

BTTS No

Fulham beat a dismal Sheffield United side last time out but failed to score against Chelsea and Crystal Palace before that. Given they also managed to score once against Luton, I feel they will struggle to create goalscoring opportunities here and Spurs will smother them when they do go forward. BTTS No adds an extra dimension to the bet.

James Maddison and Heung-min Son to score

Spurs are likely to create a bag full of chances on home soil and with the way the Postecoglou has his side set up, they will not let Fulham have a sniff. I’m expecting a big home win, and picking two goalscorers increases the odds massively. Heung-min Son has been in good form since moving to the number nine position, and James Maddison is a constant threat from set-pieces, and in open play. I’m happy to back both of them to find the net in this fixture.

Joao Palhinha to be booked

To boost the odds further, we’ve added a booking to the mix. Joao Palhinha has picked up three yellow cards in six matches so far and in midfield against the likes of Maddison he is going to get caught making fouls. Palhinha is a talented player, but a destructive one. I think he’ll get booked here.
