Tottenham host Newcastle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon (KO, 16:30) in the final Premier League game of the weekend.

These two sides are both battling it out for a place in the top four but both head into the game in poor form.

Spurs have just one point to show from their last five games after throwing away a one-goal lead against West Ham in midweek.

Newcastle’s away form has been a concern all season as they have just one win in seven attempts on their travels in the Premier League, while both teams have a number of injury issues to contend with,

Using Betfred's #PickYourPunt feature, we have picked out a 9/1 chance for the Sky Sports afternoon kick-off.

Alexander Isak 2+ Shots On Target

With Callum Wilson sidelined, the fit-again Alexander Isak is being heavily relied upon by Newcastle boss Eddie Howe.

The Sweden international appeals as an anytime scorer, but the bigger price on Isak to register two attempts on target looks worth taking on Sunday.

Spurs have a lengthy injury list and are leaking goals - they’ve gone six games without a clean sheet and have conceded 14 goals during that run.

That suggests Newcastle should be able to carve out a few chances and Isak can test the keeper at least twice. The 24-year-old is averaging 2.2 shots-per-game and manages over one shot-per-game on target.

Yes - Both Teams To Score

Goals at both ends should be expected here as both teams have scored in five of Tottenham’s seven home games this season and in each of their last six overall, while Ange Postecoglou’s men are yet to draw a blank themselves in any game across all competitions.

Newcastle were denied in a 3-0 defeat at Everton in midweek but prior to that had hit six goals in three games against quality opposition - Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG.

The Magpies have scored in six of their seven games against teams above them in the table in all competitions, having faced both Manchester teams in cup games, and should be expected to find a way through against a makeshift Tottenham backline.

Brennan Johnson To Score

Son Heung-min is an obvious scorer pick for Spurs but he is also an injury doubt, so Brennan Johnson could be the value play here.

The Welshman has one goal in his last four games but has managed an impressive 12 shots during that spell - including five against West Ham.

Johnson has been getting chances and with Newcastle missing some key men at the back - including first-choice keeper Nick Pope - he can add to his account on Sunday.

Bruno Guimaraes Carded

Just one point separates these two sides in the standings and as they are direct rivals this game could boil over at points on Sunday. That may well lead to a few cards being dished out and Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes is a candidate.

The Brazilian has five yellow cards in 14 league games this season and has committed at least two fouls in four of his last seven games, so he looks a good contender for a booking.
