Today's Football Fixtures

South Korea vs Brazil Odds

South Korea are 5/1 to beat 4/7 visitors Brazil in Seoul, and the draw is a 3/1 chance.

One or both teams failed to score in each of Brazil's last four World Cup qualifiers, and it is 1/1 that there are goals at both ends in Friday's game.

South Korea vs Brazil Stats

  • BRA have kept three clean sheets in their last four games
  • KOR blanked in a 1-0 home defeat to JPN in July
  • Richarlison (BRA) has scored 20 goals in 52 caps

Brazil to win to nil @ 7/5

Brazil's defence has tightened up since their chastening 4-1 defeat to Argentina in March's World Cup qualifier, and they should be backed to beat South Korea to nil in Seoul.

Ancelotti's men kept clean sheets in their last two home qualifiers, defeating Paraguay 1-0 and Chile 3-0, and their last two away fixtures were also low-scoring affairs.

A goalless draw in Ecuador was followed by a 1-0 defeat at altitude in Bolivia, and, despite the absences of goalkeeper Alisson and centre-back Marquinhos, Brazil could prove hard to break down.

Son will become South Korea's most-capped player if he starts on Friday and the hosts beat the USA 2-0 and drew 2-2 with Mexico in two September friendlies.

However, their last competitive international ended in a 1-0 home defeat to Japan in July, and they may struggle to land a blow on Brazil's defence.

South Korea vs Brazil - To Win to Nil

Brazil

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Scorecast - Brazil to win 1-0 & Richarlison to score first @ 25/1

With defences expected to dominate in Seoul, take a chance on Richarlison scoring the only goal in a 1-0 Brazil victory.

Dominic Solanke's injury means the striker has been starting regularly for Tottenham, scoring twice in their Premier League opener against Burnley and then also finding the net in last month's 2-2 draw at Brighton.

He has been a far more prolific goalscorer for Brazil than he is at club level, scoring 20 times in 52 appearances for the Selecao.

One of those goals came in a 4-1 win over South Korea in the 2022 World Cup round of 16, and Richarlison could play a decisive role in a tighter victory for Brazil on Friday.
