Team News

Serbia are without striker Luka Jovic, who is sidelined by a hernia problem, while Ivan Ilic and Sasa Lukic are also absent due to injury.

Denmark's trio of Rasmus Kristensen, Rasmus Nicolaisen and Joakim Maehle are all in the treatment room, while Rasmus Hojlund is fighting to retain his starting spot after failing to score in this group.

Serbia are 8/5 to pick up the win that will secure their place in the quarter-finals, with the draw priced at 11/5 and Denmark 9/5 to claim the spoils.

Serbia to win @ 8/5

With Serbia two points behind second-placed Denmark heading into this encounter, the Eagles know nothing less than a victory is required to progress and that should release the shackles slightly.

Dragan Stojkovic's troops haven't been fluent in attack, scoring the lowest amount of goals in Group A4 with just three, but they will need to take one or two risks here and press from the off.

A positive factor for Serbia is the fact they are unbeaten at home in this edition of the Nations League, drawing with Spain and beating Switzerland to extend their unbeaten run at home in this competition to four matches.

Denmark have struggled for results on the road and they are without an away win in the Nations League in three games now, losing to Croatia in the 2022/23 edition before then suffering defeat to Spain and drawing against the Swiss this year.

Those problems on the road could again be exposed by a Serbian side that are rock-solid at home.

Bet Builder - Nemanja Gudelj & Morten Hjulmand to be booked @ 6/1

This could turn out to be a feisty affair as both teams battle for that coveted second place in the group and the bookings could come out, with Serbia's Nemanja Gudelj and Denmark's Morten Hjulmand two candidates to receive cautions.

Gudelj picked up his third yellow of the season for Sevilla before the international break and given he is expected to line up in the heart of midfield for the second game in a row, the 33-year-old could be kept busy throughout the evening and it would be no surprise to see him slip up at least once.

Joining the Serbian in the book could be Danish midfielder Hjulmand, who had kept his powder dry in regards to bookings until he was shown yellows in each of his last two outings for Sporting.

The 25-year-old has been booked twice in this Nations League group, at home to Switzerland and away to Spain, and he may fall foul of the referee again.
