Group G is still finely poised in Euro 2024 qualification, Serbia could both fail to qualify and top the group going into the final game.

They face a Bulgaria side that have gone winless in their seven qualifiers and have taken just three points from a possible 21.

Serbia v Bulgaria Tips

  • Serbia to win and both teams to score @ 23/10
  • Dusan Vlahovic to score at anytime @ 7/5

Team news

Serbia rotated for their friendly against Belgium last time out but should return to full strength for this clash, although they remain without midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic through injury.

Dusan Radic, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Mitrovic are all likely to feature from the start after being benched against Belgium.

Valentin Antov was sent off for Bulgaria against Hungary on Thursday so is suspended here, Zhivko Atanasov is likely to deputise.

Match Odds

Serbia can be backed at 1/5 for the victory, while Bulgaria are 14/1 outsiders and the draw is available at 11/2.

Serbia to win and both teams to score @ 23/10

Serbia’s task to qualify for Germany next summer is fairly simple, they must avoid defeat against Bulgaria.

However they would love to bridge the two-point gap between them and Hungary at the top of the table by winning this and hoping the Magyars lose to Montenegro.

They have landed a very winnable game against Bulgaria and Serbia’s home record is impressive, they have won seven of their last nine on home soil.

The Eagles should be able to pick up the crucial victory in this matchup, but their defensive record has left a bit to be desired recently and they may also concede.

Six of the hosts’ last seven games have seen both teams score as their attacking focus can leave them open at the back.

Bulgaria may have lost three of their last four away games but they did net twice against Hungary last time out and are fancied to get on the scoresheet in defeat here.

Dusan Vlahovic to score at anytime @ 7/5

Aleksandar Mitrovic takes the headlines for this Serbia team but fellow striker Dusan Vlahovic has a rock solid goalscoring record for his country too.

The Juventus forward has netted 13 times in 24 games for the Eagles and has scored four times in ten games for his club side in Serie A this term.

Even if the 23-year-old doesn’t start, he can have a big say from the bench and looks the value pick to get on the scoresheet in this matchup given the defensive issues that Bulgaria clearly have.
