Saturday Football Accumulator Tips: A 10/1 Scottish Treble

Scottish Premiership action dominates our thinking this weekend, following a break for the Scottish Cup and a midweek spent following the Champions League and Europa League. It’s round 24 from the top flight of Scottish football, with most matches played on Saturday from 15:00.
Betfred’s football writer, Frank Monkhouse, enters in good form, having tipped correct score and first goalscorer winners in the past seven days. He now sets his sights on landing another profit with his weekend treble, including a nice price in Perth as we take in his Saturday Football Accumulator Tips north of the border...

Hearts beat Kilmarnock
We open our Saturday treble with our one home win of the weekend, picking Hearts to edge Kilmarnock at Tynecastle in the capital. It has been a season to forget for the Jambos, who start the round with only one team beneath them in the pecking order, St Johnstone. Hearts have won only six of their previous 23 league starts, scoring 25 goals and conceding 31. Neil Critchley’s men are stuck in the relegation zone but are unbeaten in four, taking eight of the last dozen points available.
Kilmarnock trip to Edinburgh two places above their hosts in the table, with one more point on the board. The visitors have won only one of their last four and two of six. They’re also winless in two, losing 1-0 to Ross County before drawing 0-0 with Motherwell, with both games played at Rugby Park. Kilmarnock were eliminated from the Scottish Cup by Celtic seven days ago thanks to a 2-1 scoreline. Back Hearts to pile on the pressure.
Hibs beat Ross County
Moving to our first of two away wins, we’re in the highlands as Ross County host Hibs in Dingwall. The Staggies started the year well but dropped to tenth after losing 4-1 at this venue when Celtic came calling. Given the Hoops ' devastating form, there’s no surprise or shame in that result, but the Premiership side were dumped out of the Scottish Cup by Championship Livingston last week.
Hibs were rock bottom of the league not too long ago but propelled themselves through the pecking order with an impressive run of results. The Hibees start the weekend in the top six with four wins and two draws in their previous half-dozen league starts. They hammered Motherwell 3-1 in the league and Clydebank 3-0 in the cup, with both wins coming at Easter Road. I’m happy to stick with the form side, and we’re backing Hibs to land an eighth win of the season and take three points back to Edinburgh.
Motherwell beat St Johnstone
We wrap up the treble at McDiarmid Park in Perth, where St Johnstone host Motherwell, and we’re happy to oppose the hosts. The Saints are stuck hard to the bottom of the league, having won only four of their previous 23 games, conceding 47 goals. St Johnstone have collected only one of the last 18 points available, making them easy to oppose.
Motherwell are certainly no sure things in any Premiership games this season, but they are seven places higher than their hosts, have three more wins on the board, scored nine more goals, and banked 14 more points. The Steelmen have taken four of the last nine points available, beating Aberdeen at Fir Park and drawing with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. Back Motherwell to beat St Johnstone at a decent offer with Betfred.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
