It’s matchday four in the new Scottish Premiership season, with fixtures spread across Saturday and Sunday. The main attraction comes from Parkhead where Celtic host Rangers in the first Old Firm derby of the term. It promises to be another fiery affair in Glasgow, and you can read our big-match preview from Saturday morning.

We avoid the chaos of the main event for a moment to concentrate on our latest Scottish football accumulator. Keep reading as our in-form tipster, Frank Monkhouse aims to build on a remarkable start to the campaign with his Scottish Football Accumulator Tips for this weekend...

Aberdeen beat Ross County

We open in Dingwall, where Ross County host Aberdeen in a match you can follow live on Premier Sports from 5:45pm. The home team start round four down in ninth place after collecting two of the first nine points available.

The Staggies drew with Motherwell and Dundee United before losing heavily to Rangers at Hampden last time out, conceding six goals without reply. They were also eliminated from the League Cup by lowly Spartans, and we expect more misery here.

Aberdeen have made a perfect start to the Premiership campaign, winning each of their first three games, scoring seven goals, and conceding two.

The Dons are joint-top of the table with Celtic and would pull clear with another win before the Hoops play Rangers in Sunday’s derby. That’s an opportunity we don’t expect them to pass up. Aberdeen beat Kilmarnock 2-0 last weekend, and we’re happy to stick with the visitors at decent odds.

Ayr United beat Dunfermline

Dropping to the Championship, we support another ambitious side with a perfect record so far this term.

Ayr United visit East End Park sitting on top of the Championship with their form detailing four wins from as many games with a dozen goals scored and just two conceded. The Honest Men, managed by former Celtic captain Scott Brown, impressed when beating Raith Rovers 2-0 last weekend and they’re worth sticking with.

Dunfermline enjoy the home advantage, but they are rock bottom of the league after three defeats in their opening three games, conceding five goals and failing to find the net. It could be a long season for the Pars, and we’re happy to back the form team as the top plays at the bottom in the Scottish Championship.

Livingston beat Raith Rovers

We wrap up our Saturday away win treble by backing Livingston to beat Raith Rovers in what should be an entertaining game.

The Lions were relegated from the top tier last season but have quickly adjusted to life in the Championship. Livingston arrive in third place with an unbeaten record of one win and a pair of draws. Their big-match experience should be enough to see them add an important three points in Kirkcaldy.

Raith Rovers are capable of holding their own in a competitive league but have lost two of their opening three games.

The home team were last in action when losing to Ayr United at Somerset Park, and we expect the Livi Lions to roar. Add Livingston to the list to create a weekend treble that should give backers a run for their money at decent odds.
