Rotherham United's relegation to League One has already been confirmed and they are unlikely to end their Championship campaign with anything to smile about.

The Millers have rehired Steve Evans in recent weeks to try and mastermind their return to the second tier, but he has a huge summer rebuild on his hands.

Home boss Evans will be without Sean Morrison, Peter Kioso, Tyler Blackett, Christ Tiehi, Cafu and Andre Green.

Cardiff coach Erol Bulut also has a lengthy injury list to contend with, as Jak Alnwick, Mark McGuinness, Jamilu Collins, Perry Ng, Josh Wilson-Esbrand, Aaron Ramsey, Callum O'Dowda, Yakou Meite, Karlan Grant and Kion Etete are all out injured.

Match Odds

Rotherham are 5/2 to collect all three points at home, while the draw is 23/10. Cardiff are 23/20 to win their final game of the campaign, while over 2.5 goals is priced at 1/1.

Famara Diedhiou is the 9/4 favourite to score anytime, while Callum Robinson is next in the market at 5/2.

Cardiff ran out 2-0 winners in the first meeting in September and a repeat of that scoreline is priced at 9/1.

Rotherham's resurgence under Evans looks like it will have to wait until next season and it is the Bluebirds that will be expected to celebrate on Saturday afternoon.

Rotherham have only won four times at home this season, scoring 19 goals in the process and they face a Cardiff side that have the ninth-best away record in the Championship.

Cardiff may have lost five of their last eight in the Championship, but on the road they have won three in five and they should have too much class for the Millers.

Rotherham's lack of goals has been their Achilles heel this season, and they have not had one player in their squad score five goals.

It speaks volumes that their joint top-scorer is defender Hakeem Odoffin and there's little chance they will find their touch on the final day to try and reward their fans for their support.

Evans' side have failed to score in five games on the spin, while they have not scored in 10 of their last 11.

Two of Cardiff's recent away wins were by 1-0 scorelines and they have only managed to score three or more on the road twice this season.

Cardiff should pick up the win but expect the scoreline to be fairly respectable.
