West Ham vs Liverpool Prediction: Irons can extend unbeaten run

West Ham United squandered a two-goal lead at AFC Bournemouth last weekend, drawing 2-2 on the South Coast, but that result made it three games unbeaten for Nuno Espirito Santo's men, who should be encouraged by the poor form of their next opponents, Liverpool. Arne Slot's side have lost nine of their last 12 matches in all competitions, including six of their last seven in the Premier League.

Below are my West Ham vs Liverpool predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds, ahead of this Sunday afternoon (14:05 GMT, Sky Sports Main Event) meeting at London Stadium.

West Ham vs Liverpool Betting Tips

  • Draw No Bet - West Ham @ 5/2
  • Bet Builder - Jarrod Bowen & Callum Wilson (both WHU) 1+ Shots on Target Each, Dominik Szoboszlai (LIV) 1+ Fouls @ 9/4

Team News

West Ham will make late calls over the availability of Crysencio Summerville (knock) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (hamstring), while Oliver Scarles (broken collarbone) and Lukasz Fabianski (back) are definitely sidelined.

Lucas Paqueta is free to return to action after serving a suspension last weekend.

Football Odds

Liverpool are set to welcome back first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker - and potentially Florian Wirtz - for Sunday's game in east London.

However, Conor Bradley (muscle), Jeremie Frimpong (hamstring) and Giovanni Leoni (knee) are all out injured, while Hugo Ekitike (back) is a doubt after coming off in the 61st minute of Wednesday's 4-1 Uefa Champions League home defeat to PSV Eindhoven.

West Ham vs Liverpool Predicted Lineups

  • West Ham: Areola; Todibo, Igor, Kilman; Wan-Bissaka, Potts, Fernandes, Diouf; Bowen, Wilson, Paqueta
  • Liverpool: Alisson; Szoboszlai, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Isak, Gakpo

West Ham vs Liverpool Odds

West Ham are 18/5, or a 21.7% chance, to chalk up a third consecutive home win, with Liverpool priced at 7/10 (58.8%) to triumph on a ground where they won 5-0 last December, while the draw is available at 16/5.

Betfred's Price Boosts include Alexander Isak 2+ Shots On Target, Callum Wilson 1+ Shots On Target & Mohamed Salah To Score Or Assist at 5/1 (was 4/1).

West Ham vs Liverpool Stats

  • WHU are unbeaten in their last three games (W2, D1)
  • WHU have won their last two at home
  • LIV have lost nine of their last 12 (six in seven PL matches)

Draw No Bet - West Ham @ 5/2

West Ham appear to have turned a corner, going unbeaten in their first three games of November, and they'll be looking to end the month on a high against Liverpool this Sunday.

The Irons have won their last two at London Stadium, beating Newcastle United 3-1 on November 2 and Burnley 3-2 six days later.

Today's Football Fixtures

Liverpool, meanwhile, are in dire straits, losing nine of their last 12 games, including their last three.

At 5/2, Sunday's hosts are superb value in the Draw No Bet market, meaning that if a draw is played out between the two sides, your stake will be returned.

Bet Builder - Jarrod Bowen & Callum Wilson (both WHU) 1+ Shots on Target Each, Dominik Szoboszlai (LIV) 1+ Fouls @ 9/4

Jarrod Bowen failed to hit the target with either of his two efforts against Bournemouth last weekend, but the West Ham captain is still averaging one shot on target per game in the Premier League this season, managing at least one in all six of his side's home matches.

The England international played against the Reds three times in 2024/25 and forced a save in both of his trips to Anfield.

I'm also backing Bowen's teammate, Callum Wilson, to register at least one target this Sunday.

Wilson made a slow start to life at the Irons, scoring just once in his first six appearances, and it looked like he was deemed surplus to requirements by Nuno, who left the former Newcastle United striker on the bench for his first three games in charge.

The 33-year-old finally got his chance against Leeds United, though, before making his first start under Nuno in a 3-1 victory over his former side on November 2. Wilson grabbed his first goal under his new boss six days later in a 3-2 win against Burnley before putting the Irons two goals ahead in their 2-2 draw at Bournemouth last Saturday.

Wilson has now registered a shot on target in his last four appearances, and considering Liverpool's current difficulties in defence, he will fancy his chances of posing a few problems this weekend.

To finish this Bet Builder off, I'm adding in a foul for Reds midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, who averaged 1.2 fouls committed per game in last season's Premier League and is averaging 1.1 fouls per game this term.

The Hungary captain was whistled three times in Liverpool's last away game, a 3-0 defeat at Manchester City on November 9, and he's made at least one foul in five of their six Premier League away matches in 2025/26.
