Tottenham Hotspur will look to continue their excellent start to the season when they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (20:00 BST, Sky Sports Main Event).

The visitors have lost all five league games this term and it looks like it will be difficult form to arrest in north London. Below you will find my Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolves predictions, alongside the latest team news and match odds.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolves Betting Tips

  • Tottenham Hotspur -1 handicap @ 13/10
  • Player to Assist a Goal - Mohammed Kudus @ 3/1

Team News

Spurs have quite a lengthy injury list this early in the season. James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin, Ben Davies (all knee), Yves Bissouma (knock), Kota Takai (foot), Dominic Solanke (ankle) and Randal Kolo Muani (dead leg) are the current players with issues.

Although, there is a chance that Takai, Solanke, Kolo Muani and Davies have a chance of making the squad to face Wolves.

Even if Solanke and Kolo Muani are fit to feature, Frank is likely going to stick with Richarlison to lead the line. The Old Gold are one of the Brazilian's favourite opponents as he has six goals against them in the Premier League - the joint-highest against a single opponent with the other being Leicester City.

He's set to be aided in the final third by Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons.

Premier League Odds

Wolves may have won against Everton in the Carabao Cup in midweek but it didn't come without a price. Midfielder Andre was forced off with a calf injury in the dying stages of the match and he is a doubt to make the trip to the capital.

Leon Chiwome remains sidelined with a knee issue for the visitors.

Boss Vitor Pereira may face a dilemma when it comes who to start up front. Jorgen Strand Larsen scored 14 goals in the league last term and he has shaken off his recent Achilles problem, but Tolu Arokodare was on the scoresheet against the Toffees last time out, and he may have played his way into the side against Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolves Predicted Lineups

  • Tottenham Hotspur - Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Palhinha, Bergvall; Kudus, Richarlison, Simons
  • Wolves - Sa; Mosquera, Toti, Agbadou; Doherty, J. Gomes, Munetsi, R. Gomes; Lopez, Hwang; Arokodare

Today's Football Fixtures

Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolves Odds

Tottenham are the 2/5 favourites to win here given they have won three of their five league games thus far, and Wolves have lost all of theirs.

Spurs have won five matches across all competitions and they have kept clean sheets in each of them. They are 6/4 to win to nil, which has an implied probability of 40%.

The stalemate is marketed at 18/5, while Wolves are 6/1 to secure their first league victory of the campaign.

Both teams to score has been a successful bet in the past four meetings between these two clubs, though, and BTTS is available at 4/5.

Tottenham forward Richarlison is the favourite to score anytime at 21/20.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolves Stats

  • Tottenham have won three of their five PL matches this season
  • All three wins have been by at least two clear goals
  • Mohammed Kudus (TOT) has three assists in the league this term

Tottenham Hotspur -1 handicap @ 13/10

Wolves may have picked up a welcome victory in the week but Everton had made several changes to their side, with key attackers Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye both starting on the bench.

The Old Gold will face a full-strength Tottenham side on Saturday night and I think they will once again be set for more misery in the Premier League. Wolves continue to be plagued by bad management off the field and their summer recruitment was nowhere near the level that they needed to give them a fighting chance, and their poor start is no surprise.

Spurs are looking good under Frank and with the home advantage, they should have no issues of dispensing their opponents at the weekend. Their three league triumphs to date this term have seen them win by at least a two-goal margin, and so I think there is value to be had in backing them to win with a -1 handicap.

I'm not as confident as some in them recording another clean sheet, as Wolves have shown they can be tricky despite not having a lot of quality, but I do believe that Spurs will have no trouble outscoring the struggling visitors, who have conceded 12 goals in five league contests.

Player to Assist a Goal - Mohammed Kudus @ 3/1

Wolves are far too easy to attack and score against at the moment, and the last thing they will want right now is to come up against the electric Kudus, who has had an excellent start to life at Tottenham following his summer transfer from West Ham United.

The Ghanaian has been on hand to provide three assists for his teammates in the top flight in the first five games of the campaign, with two of them coming in last week's stalemate with Brighton & Hove Albion.

He will pose a huge threat to Wolves' frail back line on Saturday night and I think 3/1 offers good value for him to be the provider for the second week running.
