The Premier League title could well be decided on Sunday as Manchester City host Arsenal, knowing that a victory could bring them to within three points of the Gunners, with a game in hand.

Dan Thomas assesses the numbers ahead of the huge clash, with bets for that one and all of the other five remaining matches in Gameweek 33...

Premier League Stats & Best Bets Sunday and Monday's Matches on week 33

  • Aston Villa vs Sunderland
  • Sunday, 14:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Brian Brobbey racked up eight foul involvements against Spurs last weekend, committing four and receiving a yellow card

Best bet: Aston Villa remain in pole position for Champions League qualification but they have only won four matches in 2026 and face a Sunderland outfit looking for their third win in a row. Quotes of 8/13 on a home win look too short but we’ll swerve the match odds here and focus on Sunderland frontman Brian Brobbey. The Dutchman terrorised the Spurs defence last time out, smashing into defenders with regularity and ending the season for Cristian Romero. We’ll take the 11/4 on him committing over 2.5 goals and double it with him having at least one Shot for a 3/1 bet.

Suggested bet: Back Brian Brobbey to commit 3+ fouls and have 1 Shot at 3/1

  • Everton vs Liverpool
  • Sunday, 14:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Everton haven’t conceded a first half goal in 10 of their 16 home games this season, while Liverpool have only scored four before the break in their 16 away trips

Best bet: Home defeat by PSG in the Champions League made it four losses in five for Liverpool with reports this week suggesting the board are not unanimous in their backing for Arne Slot. The Reds make their first appearance at the Hill Dickinson on Sunday and all indications suggest it will be a cagey start, as we often see in the derby. David Moyes will no doubt adopt a pragmatic approach and we’ll back a goalless first half here at a decent price.

Nottingham Forest vs Burnley

Sunday, 14:00

Live on Sky Sports

Key stat:  Nottingham Forest are unbeaten in four, but have only scored 14 goals in their 16 home games this season

Best bet: Nottingham Forest have only won one of their last eight matches against Burnley, but a home clash against the struggling Clarets is probably the ideal fixture for a team in a relegation battle. The Tricky Trees have struggled for fluency at the City Ground this season, but should have enough to secure a low-scoring victory. We’ll back Forest and Under 2.5 Goals at 13/5.

  • Manchester City vs Arsenal
  • Sunday, 16:30
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Rayan Cherki is averaging an assist every 138 minutes in the Premier League this season, with 10 in total so far.

Best bet: Man City are unbeaten in their last 14 at home this season, while Arsenal have lost their last three in domestic competition but quotes of 4/5 on Pep Guardiola’s men feel a touch short, given how strong the Gunners have been across the campaign. Instead, we’ll focus our attention on Rayan Cherki and the assists markets. The French wing wizard made it into double figures with a brace of assists against Chelsea and we’ll back him to add another to the tally at 11/4.

  • Crystal Palace vs West Ham United
  • Monday, 20:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: West Ham have won five of their last 11 in the Premier League, drawing three – only four teams have picked up more points in that timeframe

Best bet: West Ham finally escaped from the relegation zone last weekend after their 4-0 hammering of Wolves and they have a great chance to draw further clear from trouble when they travel to a Crystal Palace side who will no doubt have most of their attention on the Europa Conference League after booking their semi-final berth. The Hammers have won three of their last five visits to Selhurst Park and 15/8 on another away victory looks more than fair.
