Premier League Stats & Best Bets for Week 25
- Leeds United vs Nottingham Forest
- Friday, 20:00
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Only Sunderland have been level at half-time more times than Leeds this season (11), while eight of Nottingham Forest's 11 away league goals have come in the second half.
Best bet: A huge match at the bottom of the table under the lights on Friday as 16th placed Leeds host Nottingham Forest in 17th, with both sides locked together on 26 points and with a matching -11 goal difference. With so much at stake - a winner would draw nine points clear of the relegation zone - a cagey start is on the cards. The half-time draw is a live runner at 11/10 but we'll take the slightly bigger price on the second half being the highest scoring.

- Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur
- Saturday, 12:30
- Live on TNT Sports
Key stat: Dominic Solanke has scored five goals in his last five appearances against Manchester United in all competitions. He's averaging a goal every 88 minutes in all competitions this season, the best rate of any Spurs player.
Best bet: Tottenham are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Manchester United in all competitions, including a 3-0 win here last season, but the hosts have gone 3/3 under Michael Carrick and should provide a much tougher test for injury ravaged Spurs. We'll swerve the match odds here and back the in-form Dominic Solanke to add to his brace against Man City last weekend with another goal. The England striker will be in a confident mood after that ridiculous scorpion kick strike and looks a decent price.

- AFC Bournemouth vs Aston Villa
- Saturday, 15:00
Key stat: Bournemouth have won three of their last four Premier League games, while Aston Villa have lost three of their last six league matches, as many as they had in their first 18 this season.
Best bet: Home defeat to 10-man Brentford was a bit of a shocker for Aston Villa and it might be a sign that results are finally catching up with performances - Unai Emery's men are 12th on expected points this season. They travel to a Bournemouth side who have put their winter woes behind them, with three wins in four and having scored at least two goals in five of their last six matches. With Villa missing a number of key men, we'll back the Cherries to make it four victories in five.

- Arsenal vs Sunderland
- Saturday, 15:00
Key stat: Sunderland have won just one of their last 28 Premier League games against Arsenal (D10 L17), a 1-0 home win in November 2009.
Best bet: Arsenal bounced back from home defeat to Man Utd in style with a 4-0 hammering of Leeds followed up by a professional 1-0 win over Chelsea to secure a spot in the EFL Cup final at Wembley. Sunderland breezed past Burnley 3-0 but have struggled on the road, picking up just 10 points from their 12 matches. With a home win prohibitively short at 2/9, we'll boost it to 5/6 by adding Over 2.5 Goals. There have been three or more in all of the Black Cats last four, while Arsenal's last five matches in all competitions have featured 18 goals.

- Burnley vs West Ham United
- Saturday, 15:00
Key stat: Only Wolves have scored a higher share of their Premier League goals in the first half of games than West Ham this season, with the Hammers scoring more in the opening 15 minutes than any other side (8).
Best bet: No side has dropped more points from winning positions than West Ham in the Premier League this season (18) with the 3-2 defeat at Chelsea having been 2-0 up the latest throwaway from the Hammers. But it was another fast start for the east London outfit and with Burnley only having scored 10 goals in the first half all season, we'll take the 13/8 on offer for Nuno's men to be ahead at the break.

- Fulham vs Everton
- Saturday, 15:00
Key stat: Since Christmas, 90% of Fulham's Premier League goals have come in the second half (9/10) – they have a 2.5% shot conversion in the first 45 minutes (1 goal from 40 shots), compared to 17.3% in the second half (9 from 52).
Best bet: It was last minute heartbreak for Fulham at Old Trafford last weekend as they lost 3-2 having come back from 2-0 down but it was another good second half rally for the Cottagers, who have been doing their best work after the break. Everton had their own last minute drama, rescuing a point at Brighton with the last kick of the game and we'll back the second half to be the highest scoring 45 here.

- Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea
- Saturday, 15:00
Key stat: João Pedro has scored five goals in his last eight Premier League appearances for Chelsea, including a goal in all three under Liam Rosenior so far.
Best bet: Chelsea were pretty flat at the Emirates in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg in midweek but the 1-0 defeat was only Liam Rosenior's second loss in eight matches as Blues boss and he's looking to become just the second English manager in Premier League history to win his first four games in charge. The 2-0 home defeat to Bournemouth made it three games without a goal for Wolves and quotes of 7/10 on a Chelsea win look about right. We'll boost the price to 11/5 by adding a goal from in-form João Pedro.
Bet: Back Chelsea to win and João Pedro to score at 11/5 via our Bet Builder on the Wolves vs Chelsea Odds page on betfred.com
- Newcastle United vs Brentford
- Saturday, 17:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: There have been an average of 4.1 goals per game in Premier League meetings between Brentford and Newcastle (37 goals in 9 games), the highest ratio of any fixture to have been played as many times.
Best bet: Brentford pulled off one of the results of the season last weekend winning at title-chasing Aston Villa with only 10 men and they'll fancy their chances against a Newcastle side who've conceded seven goals in the last week and have a number of injury concerns to key players. We'll back the Bees to avoid defeat in a double with Over 2.5 Goals, with the latter landing in 12 of Newcastle's last 17 top flight encounters.

- Brighton vs Crystal Palace
- Sunday, 14:00
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Since the start of December, only Wolves (6) and Burnley (5) have won fewer points in the Premier League than both Brighton and Crystal Palace (9 each).
Best bet: Everton's 97th minute equaliser last weekend made it four draws in Brighton's last five at home and six in total this season, with the Seagulls struggling for real fluency in front of the Amex faithful. Crystal Palace's point at Forest was equally disappointing given the hosts were down to 10 men for the whole second half, although at least it stopped a run of three losses in all competitions. It's hard to back either side with any conviction, for all Brighton are rightly the favourites. We'll back another stalemate for Fabian Hurzeler's troops at a chunky price.

- Liverpool vs Manchester City
- Sunday, 16:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Manchester City are the only Premier League side in 2026 so far who have not conceded a single goal in the first half of a match, scoring six times themselves. However, they are also the only side who haven't scored a second half goal yet, conceding six goals.
Best bet: Since the start of last season, only three teams have picked up more points from losing positions in the Premier League than Liverpool (28), with last weekend's 4-1 comeback win over Newcastle the latest stirring effort from the Reds. Man City somehow dropped two points despite cruising the first half against Tottenham and their second half no-shows are becoming a concern for Pep Guardiola. We'll take a swing at the Man City/Liverpool HT/FT bet here at a huge price.
