The end of the October international break brings with it Gameweek 8 of the Premier League, featuring some fascinating fixtures heading our way this weekend. This can only mean one thing - that we are back to predict the scores.

Nick still leads the way, leaving myself and Simon work to do. Can we reduce the deficit this weekend? Check out our latest Premier League predictions below.

Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea (Saturday 12:30 BST) - 0-3 @ 16/1

Pressure continues to mount on Nottingham Forest boss Ange Postecoglou, who is winless in his first seven games in charge across all competitions. Sean Dyche's name is being murmured as a potential successor already. The Tricky Trees host Chelsea at the City Ground, with the Blues recording a last-gasp victory over Liverpool last time out.

Forest are in a poor state at the moment and they are there for the taking. Chelsea can rack up a few goals here.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 0-2

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United (Saturday 15:00 BST) - 2-2 @ 11/1

Brighton & Hove Albion are unbeaten in their last four competitive matches and they play host to Newcastle United at the Amex. The Magpies have won their last two matches in all competitions but they haven't won away from home in the top flight since April.

Both sides have been effective in the final third recently, so I think they will end up cancelling each other out.

Nick: 2-2

Simon: 2-1

Burnley vs Leeds United (Saturday 15:00 BST) - 1-1 @ 5/1

The first of a few 1-1s from me comes at Turf Moor as Burnley host fellow promoted side Leeds United. The Clarets have looked better at home than on their travels, and the same goes for the visiting Whites.

This looks set to be a tight encounter in Lancashire and I think they will end up sharing the spoils.

Nick: 0-0

Simon: 0-2

Crystal Palace vs AFC Bournemouth (Saturday 15:00 BST) - 1-1 @ 11/2

Crystal Palace's 19-game unbeaten run in all competitions came to an end against Everton last time out and now the Eagles have to respond to their first league defeat of the campaign.

They entertain AFC Bournemouth at Selhurst Park, with the Cherries unbeaten in their last six outings in the Premier League. The visitors boast the prolific Antoine Semenyo, who has six goals already. But Palace have conceded just five goals in seven matches thus far, so another low-scoring encounter could be on te cards here.

Nick: 1-2

Manchester City vs Everton (Saturday 15:00 BST) - 2-0 @ 6/1

Manchester City managed to see out a narrow 1-0 victory at Brentford last time out and the Citizens have now won two games on the spin in the top flight. Pep Guardiola's side return to the Etihad at the weekend and they play host to Everton.

The Toffees kept their unbeaten record going at their new stadium by beating Palace before the international break but heading to the home of City will be a tough test for Moyes' boys.

Nick: 2-1

Simon: 4-0

Sunderland vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (Saturday 15:00 BST) - 1-1 @ 5/1

Sunderland will look for an immediate response following their defeat at Manchester United last time out. The Black Cats are still figuring out consistency on their travels but they have been a stronger force on home turf.

They host Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Stadium of Light, with the Old Gold experiencing 1-1 draws in their past two outings against Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton.

Wolves are looking a tougher side to beat and they may pose a few problems for the hosts, and I can see them playing out another score draw.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 2-1

Fulham vs Arsenal (Saturday 17:30 BST) - 0-3 @ 10/1

Fulham have suffered back-to-back 3-1 defeats in the Premier League and they will hope to change their fortunes against Arsenal at Craven Cottage. Unfortunately for them, I don't see that happening.

The Gunners are the best defensive side in the division, having conceded just three goals in the first seven games of the season. They have also won their last two league matches heading into the weekend, and I think they will prove too much for the home side to handle.

Nick: 0-1

Simon: 0-2

Fulham vs Arsenal - Correct Score
Arsenal 3-0

Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa (Sunday 14:00 BST) - 2-2 @ 12/1

Tottenham Hotspur are seven games unbeaten in all competitions but their recent performances have not been particularly brilliant. Aston Villa, who have won four competitive games in a row, will be sensing an opportunity in north London.

Both teams have players who can be effective in the final third but I can't say with confidence that we will see one of them prevail here. A high-scoring draw seems more appropriate.

Nick: 2-1

Simon: 2-1

Liverpool vs Manchester United (Sunday 16:30 BST) - 2-1 @ 7/1

Liverpool boss Arne Slot was handed a gift last season when he won the league title at the first attempt. He's now struggling to cope with the fact that several rivals suddenly all have title credentials this term. His side were beaten at Chelsea last time out, marking successive defeats in the Premier League.

They will look to get back to winning ways at Anfield when they face historic rivals Manchester United, whose tails will be up after taking down Sunderland. I'm not convinced by either of these sides at the moment, particularly when it comes to their defences.

Fortunately for Liverpool, they have more attacking options to choose from so they may just edge this clash.

Nick: 3-1 (pretends to be shocked)

Simon: 1-1

West Ham United vs Brentford (Monday 20:0 BST) - 1-1 @ 11/2

Nuno Espirito Santo will hope that two weeks will have been enough time to get more of his ideas across at West Ham United. The Irons are in action at the London Stadium on Monday as they welcome west London outfit Brentford.

The hosts are winless in four fixtures in the top flight, while Brentford have lost all three of their away trips thus far. I think it will take a while to see Nuno's impact at West Ham, so I think this could be another 1-1.

Nick: 2-1

Simon: 0-0
