Premier League Predictions: Spurs to pick up a crucial win

I had two correct scores in the latest round of Premier League predictions, which has helped me move to within three points of Nick, who tops the leaderboard. Simon had a good week but he has got a lot of points to pick up in the final five rounds of fixtures if he bids to come out on top.
Below we present our Gameweek 34 predictions.
Conor's Premier League Predictions - Gameweek 34
- Sunderland 1-1 Forest @ 11/2
- Fulham 0-2 Villa @ 14/1
- Liverpool 2-1 Palace @ 13/2
- West Ham 1-1 Everton @ 6/1
- Wolves 1-2 Spurs @ 7/1
- Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle @ 7/1
- Man United 2-2 Brentford @ 11/1
Odds correct at the time of publication
Sunderland 1-1 Forest @ 11/2
Sunderland lost a seven-goal thriller at Aston Villa last weekend, having thought they'd salvaged a point late on after being 3-1 down. The Black Cats will look to get back on track this Friday when they host Nottingham Forest at the Stadium of Light.
The Tricky Trees thumped Burnley 4-1 last time out to move them five points clear of the relegation zone. Both these teams have been in decent form of late and I think they will end up sharing the spoils on Wearside - especially when Forest have drawn three of their previous five fixtures in the top flight.
Nick: 1-1
Simon: 1-2
Fulham 0-2 Villa @ 14/1
Fulham's struggles in front of goal continued last week as they played out a goalless draw at Brentford. The Cottagers have now blanked in four of their past five outings in the league, and I think this trend will continue when Aston Villa travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Villa have won two of their three most recent matches in the top flight and they are fighting to secure their place in the Uefa Champions League next season. An away win for me.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 1-2
Liverpool 2-1 Palace @ 13/2
Back-to-back victories should have Liverpool feeling confident ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace at Anfield. The Reds are looking to rescue their disappointing campaign by finishing in the Champions League places.
Palace are unbeaten in four but I think they will fall to a defeat on Merseyside, but I am expecting a close encounter.
Nick: 3-1
Simon: 2-0
West Ham 1-1 Everton @ 6/1
West Ham United sit just two points above the relegation zone, so they will be desperate to claim three points at home against Everton. The Toffees remain in the conversation to qualify for some form of European football next term but they head here without a win in their past two outings.
I think this is nailed on for a low-scoring draw.
Nick: 1-2
Simon: 0-0

Wolves 1-2 Spurs @ 7/1
Wolves' eight-year stay in the Premier League has come to an end. The Old Gold have been relegated with five games left to play. Hoping to avoid the same fate are Tottenham Hotspur, who travel to Molineux.
This will be considered a free hit for the struggling visitors as Wolves will have no motivation in this contest other than looking to bring Spurs down with them. I don't see Tottenham picking up many more points before the term ends but this is their best chance of picking up a win.
Nick: 1-3
Simon: 0-3
Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle @ 7/1
The nerves are starting to set in for Arsenal now. Having been nine points clear of Manchester City in the title race, the Gunners are now behind Pep Guardiola's side on goal difference.
They are in action against Newcastle United at the Emirates on Saturday, and it feels as though they cannot drop any more points in the final month of the campaign.
Eddie Howe's side head to north London on the back of three straight defeats in the league, and Arsenal simply have to capitalise on this.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 2-0
Man United 2-2 Brentford @ 11/1
Manchester United are in action on Monday night as Brentford pay a visit to Old Trafford. United narrowly defeated Chelsea in their latest appearance in the top flight, and they now come up against a Bees team that has drawn five consecutive games in this competition.
I am backing this trend to continue, and it should provide us with a few goals.
Nick: 3-2
Simon: 3-1
