Premier league predictions

We’ve got another round of Premier League predictions heading our way this weekend as gameweek 10 takes centre stage.

There’s a few intriguing storylines emerging, especially towards the top of the table where Manchester United are aiming to win four in a row, and Sunderland and Bournemouth both feature in the top four. Below you can find our Premier League Predictions for gameweek 10.

Simon's Premier League Predictions - Gameweek 10

  • Crystal Palace vs Brentford (Saturday, 15:00) - 1-1 @ 6/1
  • Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United (Saturday, 15:00) - 1-2 @ 15/2
  • Burnley vs Arsenal (Saturday, 15:00) - 0-2 @ 5/1
  • Brighton vs Leeds (Saturday, 15:00) - 3-1 @ 12/1
  • Fulham vs Wolves (Saturday, 15:00) - 2-0 @ 15/2
  • Tottenham vs Chelsea (Saturday, 17:30) - 2-1 @ 17/2
  • Liverpool vs Aston Villa (Saturday, 20:00) - 2-2 @ 12/1
  • West Ham vs Newcastle (Sunday, 14:00) - 0-3 @ 12/1

  • Sunderland vs Everton (Monday, 20:00) - 2-0 @ 12/1

Crystal Palace vs Brentford (Saturday, 15:00) - 1-1 @ 6/1

Can’t call this one. Brentford cruised past Grimsby Town to make it to the last eight of the Carabao Cup in midweek while Crystal Palace hammered Liverpool at Anfield to book their place in the quarter-finals.

I like Palace a lot this season and they look very strong, but Brentford also beat Liverpool in their last Premier League outing. I’m staying firmly on the fence for this one.

Nick: 2-0

Conor: 2-1

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United (Saturday, 15:00) - 1-2 @ 15/2

Will the United Strand finally get to cut his hair? Well, Manchester United are on a run of three wins on the bounce and they will fancy their chances of making it four as they travel to Sean Dyche’s Nottingham Forest. The Tricky Trees have lost their way this term and they’ve lost their last four Premier League games without scoring. Away win, but I’ll back Forest to find the net in defeat.

Conor: 1-3

Premier League Odds

Burnley vs Arsenal (Saturday, 15:00) - 0-2 @ 5/1

Looking at the underlying data, Arsenal are the best team in the Premier League this season, and they should be able to win the title from here. A win at Burnley would help them on their way, and given they’ve won their last six games to nil, I’ll go for a 2-0 success.

Brighton vs Leeds (Saturday, 15:00) - 3-1 @ 12/1

Brighton lost to Arsenal in the cup, and they lost to Man Utd last time out in the league, but I feel they should be able to bounce back against Leeds United. Daniel Farke has done well this season, but this could be too tough for his side.

Nick: 2-0

Conor: 2-1

Fulham vs Wolves (Saturday, 15:00) - 2-0 @ 15/2

Wolves are tragic this season. They were beaten at home by Chelsea midweek in the Carabao Cup and now they face another bruising Premier League away day. Two points from nine games is atrocious, and I think they will lose again here without scoring.

Nick: 2-0

Conor: 3-1

Tottenham vs Chelsea (Saturday, 17:30) - 2-1 @ 17/2

Spurs are up to third in the Premier League, but they lost to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup in midweek. However, they will fancy their chances of beating Chelsea on Saturday given the Blues lost at home to Sunderland in their last league outing. I’ll back the hosts to edge it.

Nick: 2-2

Conor: 3-3

Liverpool vs Aston Villa (Saturday, 20:00) - 2-2 @ 12/1

Saturday night, and all eyes will be on Anfield as Liverpool continue to struggle. Six defeats in their last seven games is absolutely remarkable and Arne Slot is now under massive pressure to turn things around. The visit of Aston Villa, who have won their last three league games and had a free midweek, is going to be a tough one - I’ll back a high-scoring draw on this occasion.

West Ham vs Newcastle (Sunday, 14:00) - 0-3 @ 12/1

West Ham are almost as bad as Wolves are. They’ve only got one win and four points to their name in the Premier League, so I think they will find it tough at home to a Newcastle side that enjoyed a confidence-boosting cup win in midweek and have now won three in a row. Big away win expected.

Nick: 1-2

Conor: 0-3

Man City vs Bournemouth Sunday, 16:30) - 1-1 @ 8/1

I just can’t place Manchester City this season. They beat Swansea City in midweek after going a goal down but lost to Villa in their last PL outing. Bournemouth are flying right now, up to second in the league and Antoine Semenyo looks like one of the best forwards anywhere in Europe. I think AFCB will be able to get a draw at the Etihad.

Nick: 2-1

Conor: 2-2

Sunderland vs Everton (Monday, 20:00) - 2-0 @ 12/1

Monday night football sees high-flying Sunderland host Everton, and I have to back the Black Cats. The win at Chelsea was massively impressive, and 17 points from nine games so far would mean survival by the new year if they continue to rack up points at this rate. There’s a massive feel-good factor around the club and so I’ll back them to get a win to nil.
