Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace Prediction: Eagles’ wings to be clipped again

Nottingham Forest are three games unbeaten in the Premier League and they will look to extend that streak to four when they entertain Crystal Palace at the City Ground on Sunday (14:00 GMT, Sky Sports+).
The Eagles are without a win in their last eight league matches, which has seen them drop from fourth to 15th. Below you will find my Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace predictions, accompanied by the latest match odds and team news.

Team News
Forest goalkeeper John Victor is set for a spell on the sidelines following the knee injury he picked up against Aston Villa earlier in the month.
Chris Wood has missed most of the season with a knee issue of his own and he is not due back until later in the campaign. Nicolo Savona will need to be monitored ahead of the game with a similar issue.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Jean-Philippe Mateta will not be in the squad on Sunday as he forward is set to depart the club before the transfer window closes.
Daichi Kamada and Eddie Nketiah remain out of action with muscle problems, while Justin Devenny (ankle), Nathaniel Clyne (knock) and Cheick Doucoure (knee) are other injury concerns for the Eagles.
Evann Guessand has bolstered their attacking options by joining on loan from Aston Villa but he is unable to make his debut on Sunday.
Adam Wharton is another absentee due to suspension.

Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace Odds
Forest are 19/20 (implied probability of 51.3%) to win this clash, and they have prevailed in two of their previous three league matches.
The draw is priced at 5/2 and this was the outcome when the two sides met at Selhurst Park back in August.
Palace are 3/1 to get back to winning ways.
BTTS - Yes struck in the reverse fixture and is available at 4/5 on this occasion.
Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace Stats

- 6 of them have been defeats
- Forest have won two of their previous three league fixtures
- Igor Jesus has 3 goals in his last 2 competitive appearances
Match Result & Over/Under 1.5 Goals - Nottingham Forest & Over @ 7/5
Forest have a five-point cushion above the relegation zone but West Ham United, the team currently occupying 18th, have won their past two matches in the league so the Tricky Trees will ideally need to take the opportunity in front of them on Sunday.
Palace are a club in disarray. A club in poor form who have lost their best defender, braced to lose their top scorer as well as their manager at the end of the season.
From a team battling for Europe to fighting for survival, the Eagles are at risk of going down if they cannot arrest their form. Forest can pull their opponents into the thick of it with a victory, as they would join Palace on 28 points.
Sean Dyche's men have won two of their last three league matches, including an impressive victory at Brentford last week. They also delivered a 4-0 home triumph in the Uefa Europa League against Ferencvaros on Thursday so they should be full of confidence coming into this.
The Tricky Trees have scored at least two goals in each of their previous five victories in all competitions and I have boosted the odds by adding over 1.5 goals to the selection.

Anytime Goalscorer - Igor Jesus @ 13/8
Given Palace's woes, Forest striker Igor Jesus should be rubbing his hands together to face them. The Brazilian has had a strong week coming into this contest, with three goals in his past two outings against Brentford and Ferencvaros.
He is doing a fine job up front for the hosts in the absence of Wood, who has been one of Forest's standout players in recent years. Jesus should be full of confidence and this should help him strike for the third successive game to help improve the Tricky Trees' survival hopes.
