Fulham vs Everton Prediction: The Cottagers to avoid defeat

Fulham and Everton both sit on 34 points in the Premier League table as they prepare to meet at Craven Cottage on Saturday (15:00 GMT). The hosts suffered late heartache as they lost 3-2 at Manchester United last weekend, while the Toffees head here after salvaging a point at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Team News
Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz has missed much of the season due to various injuries but he is thought to be nearing a return to action, so he may have a chance of making the squad on Saturday.
Raul Jimenez should feature in attack again as a result, supported by top scorer Harry Wilson, who has eight goals in the top flight.
Oscar Bobb joined the Cottagers from Manchester City in the winter transfer window but a thigh problem us currently stopping him from making his debut. Sasa Lukic is out with the same issue.
Jack Grealish could miss the rest of the season due to a foot injury, which is both a blow for Everton and the player, as this may ruin his chances of going to the Fifa World Cup with England.
Vitalii Mykolenko and Tim Iroegbunam will need to be assessed ahead of the game.
Fulham vs Everton Predicted Lineups
- Fulham: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Cuenca, Robinson; Iwobi, Berge; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Chukwueze; Jimenez
- Everton: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Branthwaite; Garner, Gueye; Armstrong, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye; Barry
Fulham have won three of their last four home games in the league and they are 11/10 to come out on top here.
Given their opposition, the draw may appeal at 12/5, while the 1-1 scoreline is available at 11/2 (implied probability of 15.4%). Three of Everton's past four outings in the top flight have ended 1-1.
The Toffees have won two of their previous three away trips and they are 13/5 to pick up the three points.
Fulham vs Everton Stats
- Fulham have won 3 of their last 4 PL home games
- 3 of Everton's past 4 league matches have been 1-1 draws
- Harry Wilson has scored in Fulham's previous 3 home fixtures in the PL
Double Chance & BTTS - Fulham or Draw & Yes @ 6/4
Trying to escape a draw in games involving Everton is proving tricky at the moment, but my gut tells me that the Toffees could be in line for a defeat in west London.
Fulham have one of the strongest home records in the division with seven wins from 12 and three of those victories have come across their past four outings at Craven Cottage.
Everton have been decent on their travels in recent weeks, so of course there is a good chance that these two sides will cancel each other out, I just think the Cottagers are a different animal when playing on home soil.
I am confident that both teams find the net, though, which has been the case in five of the previous six league fixtures held here.

Anytime Goalscorer - Harry Wilson @ 11/5
Fulham are probably nervous because star man Wilson is into the final six months of his contract and there are no indications that a new deal is imminent. The former Liverpool man has bagged eight goals in the Premier League this term and so he shouldn't be short of suitors come the summer.
To better his chances of a potential lucrative move at the end of the campaign, the Welshman will look to end the season strongly with Fulham. I think he's good value to get on the scoresheet on Saturday as he has struck in each of the Cottagers' last three home games in the top flight.
