Having enjoyed a record 19-game unbeaten run earlier this season, Crystal Palace are now finding life harder and have gone five matches without a win across all competitions.

The Eagles lost 1-0 at home to Tottenham on Sunday and now host a Fulham side who have won their last two games in the Premier League, recording a clean sheet in both fixtures.

Home fans heading to this New Year’s Day fixture will be wary of the threat posed by the Cottagers, as Palace haven’t beaten or even scored against their London rivals in the last four meetings at Selhurst Park.

However, despite recent runs and stats pointing to a tough evening for Palace, such records are there to be broken and so they are slight favourites to take the three points and kick off 2026 with a victory.

Team News

Crystal Palace are without Daniel Munoz, who has a knee injury, while Cheick Doucoure is also unavailable due to a similar issue.

Ismaila Sarr is at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal and Daichi Kamada won’t play due to a hamstring problem.

Centre-back Chris Richards, meanwhile, needed stitches in his foot after facing Arsenal in the League Cup and so was sidelined for Sunday’s defeat to Spurs..

Fulham’s Nigeria trio of Samuel Chukwueze, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey are representing the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Forward Rodrigo Muniz remains sidelined and Ryan Sessegnon is a doubt having struggled with a hamstring issue which has forced him to miss the last five matches.

Crystal Palace vs Fulham Predicted Lineups

  • Crystal Palace: Henderson; Lerma, Lacroix, Guehi; Clyne, Wharton, Hughes, Mitchell; Devenny, Pino; Mateta
  • Fulham: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Cuenca, Robinson; Lukic, Berge; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Kevin; Jimenez

Crystal Palace vs Fulham Odds

Crystal Palace are priced at 6/5 to win on Thursday, while Fulham are 5/2 to claim another victory after beating West Ham on Saturday. The draw is available at 23/10.

Both teams to score is a 4/5 chance while Eagles forward Jean-Philippe Mateta is 7/2 to open the scoring and Fulham striker Raul Jimenez is 11/5 to find the net at any time.

Crystal Palace vs Fulham Stats

  • Crystal Palace have failed to win or score in any of their last four Premier League home games against Fulham
  • Fulham have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four Premier League away games against Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace to win @ 6/5

Crystal Palace have an extra workload compared to past seasons, as the Eagles are balancing the Premier League and domestic cup competitions with the Conference League.

With that in mind, there are greater demands on the squad this season and that appears to have been taking its toll over recent weeks.

However, while Palace have now gone five games without a win, Oliver Glasner still has genuine quality to call upon and so the Eagles can be confident of getting back to winning ways against Fulham.

Palace’s last league win came against the Cottagers in the reverse meeting between the pair at Craven Cottage in early December and so another victory would certainly provide a boost at the start of 2026.

Under 2.5 goals @ 8/11

Palace have scored just one goal in their last four home matches, drawing blanks against rivals Brighton, Manchester City and, most recently, Tottenham.

With that in mind, while the Eagles may have enough to get the better of Fulham, it is unlikely to be a goal fest.

The Cottagers have kept two clean sheets in two games and are looking solid at the back, meaning one goal may even be enough to decide this fixture.
