Chelsea vs Everton Prediction: Card for Ndiaye ahead of exit to Afcon

Chelsea's winless run extended to four games on Tuesday as they fell to a 2-1 Uefa Champions League defeat in Bergamo to Atalanta. On Saturday (15:00 GMT), Enzo Maresca's men return to Premier League action, back at Stamford Bridge after nearly two weeks away from their home.
Everton, who have won four of their last five matches to move to within a point of the west London side in the table, provide the opposition. Below are my Chelsea vs Everton predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds, ahead of this weekend's fixture at the Bridge.
Chelsea vs Everton Betting Tips
- Player to Have 2 or More Shots - Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (EVE) @ 7/4
- Player to Receive a Card - Iliman Ndiaye (EVE) @ 4/1

Team News
On Saturday, Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo will serve the third and final game of his domestic ban received for a red card in a 1-1 draw with Arsenal on November 30.
Levi Colwill (knee), Romeo Lavia, Dario Essugo (both thigh) and Liam Delap (shoulder) are sidelined with injuries, but in better news for the Blues, Cole Palmer and Wesley Fofana are expected to be fit for Saturday's match.
As for Everton, Jarrad Branthwaite and Merlin Rohl are back in training, but the trip to west London comes too soon for the pair, who miss out alongside Seamus Coleman (hamstring).
Idrissa Gana Gueye, who was sent off after just 13 minutes of Everton's 1-0 win at Manchester United on November 24, could return to the starting XI here after completing a three-game ban for violent conduct.
Fellow midfielder Tim Iroegbubam is also back from a suspension served for an accumulation of yellow cards.
Chelsea vs Everton Predicted Lineups
- Chelsea: Sanchez; Gusto, Chalobah, Adarabioyo, Cucurella; James, Fernandez; Estevao, Palmer, Garnacho; Joao Pedro
- Everton: Pickford; O'Brien, Keane, Tarkowski, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish; Barry
Chelsea, who have won the last two head-to-heads at Stamford Bridge, are 4/6 to return to winning ways this weekend, implying a 60% probability of success, with Everton 9/2, or an 18.2% chance, to record a third consecutive victory, and the draw offered at 11/4.
Betfred's Price Boosts include Palmer To Score, Palmer To Assist at 10/1 (was 17/2).
Chelsea vs Everton Stats
- Dewsbury-Hall (EVE) has three goals in his last four apps
- Ndiaye (EVE) was booked in home H2H v CHE last season
Player to Have 2 or More Shots - Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (EVE) @ 7/4
This looks like a generous price, considering Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has scored in three of his last four games.
The 27-year-old's strike against Forest last Saturday was his fourth goal of the season, following November efforts against Manchester United and Newcastle United, and one in August against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Dewsbury-Hall was brought into the club during the summer from Chelsea, where he made just 13 Premier League appearances in his sole season with the Blues.
The former Leicester City star has already played one more league game with the Toffees, where he has established himself as a key player in a side that looks to be going places under David Moyes.
For the second time in three matches last weekend, Dewsbury-Hall recorded three shots, and he should be freed up on Saturday by the returns of Gueye and Iroegbunam, with at least one of them slotting into a two-man defensive midfield, allowing him to move back to a more advanced midfield role.
Dewsbury-Hall will surely be fired up to face his former club, for whom he wasn't handed much of a chance to impress, so I'm confident he'll let fly at least twice on Saturday.
I also like the look of a Dewsbury-Hall goal and shot on target, at 13/2 and 2/1, respectively, and if you want to go even bigger, a Dewsbury-Hall goal from outside the penalty area is priced at 25/1.

Player to Receive a Card - Iliman Ndiaye (EVE) @ 4/1
Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella is a player who can frustrate opponents, with Crystal Palace's Daniel Munoz, Liverpool pair Dominik Szoboszlai and Conor Bradley, Tottenham Hotspur's Mohammed Kudus and Leeds United's Anton Stach all booked in this season's Premier League for fouling the Spaniard, who has also attracted yellows from Bayern Munich's Michael Olise and FC Barcelona's Ronald Araujo in the Uefa Champions League.
On Saturday, the 27-year-old is likely to be up against Iliman Ndiaye, who has starred on the right-hand side of Everton's attack this season, scoring four goals and registering two assists.
However, the Senegal international, who will link up with his country next week ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament, has also been booked twice this term, averaging a foul per game.
Ndiaye was cautioned against Chelsea at Goodison Park last season for a foul on Pedro Neto, who could also start for the Blues this weekend.
I'm backing Ndiaye to ruffle a few feathers at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and sign off for Everton with a card.
