Bournemouth vs Brentford Prediction: Recent H2Hs predict a flow of goals

AFC Bournemouth came from behind to draw with Sunderland at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday. The Cherries are now eight games unbeaten in the top flight and they will hope to extend this streak when Brentford head south on Tuesday (19:30 GMT, TNT Sports 4).
The Bees have won five of their last six away matches in the league, with the latest coming against Burnley at the weekend. Read on for my Bournemouth vs Brentford predictions, alongside the latest match odds and team news.

Team News
Bournemouth are still without the services of Ben Gannon-Doak, Julio Soler and Lewis Cook owing to hamstring problems. Justin Kluivert (knee) and Matai Akinmboni (muscle) are also going to miss Tuesday's clash.
There are doubts surrounding centre-forward Evanilson because of a dead leg.
With a quick turnaround, boss Andoni Iraola may consider making a few alterations for some fresh legs. This could see Amine Adli come in for Rayan.
Antoni Milambo, Josh Dasilva and Fabio Carvalho are sidelined for Brentford with knee injuries. Vitaly Janelt is also absent because of a metatarsal issue. Aaron Hickey (unspecified) is another doubt for the trip to Dorset.
Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher missed the Burnley win due to the birth of his child, so he will be expected back between the sticks here.
Bournemouth vs Brentford Predicted Lineups
- Bournemouth: Petrovic; Jimenez, Hill, Senesi, Truffert; Christie, Scott; Adli, Tavernier, Brooks; Kroupi
- Brentford: Kelleher; Kayode, Collins, Van den Berg, Henry; Yarmolyuk, Henderson; Ouattara, Damsgaard, Schade; Thiago
Bournemouth have won four of their last eight league games, and they are 13/10 to triumph on Tuesday.
The Cherries have drawn their previous two fixtures in the top flight and the stalemate is marketed at 11/4.
Brentford are 7/4 to leave with the win, as they have managed in each of their past three road trips in the Premier League.
There have been goals at both ends in 11 of Bournemouth's last 13 league matches and both teams to score - Yes is on offer at 8/15 here.
Bournemouth vs Brentford Stats
- Over 3.5 goals has landed in 3 of Brentford's previous 5 away games in the PL (incl their last 2)
- 3 of the last 5 H2Hs in the PL have seen at least 4 goals scored
- Kevin Schade struck a hat-trick against Bournemouth in December's reverse fixture and he was on the scoresheet last time out
Total Goals - Over 3.5 @ 13/8
I fancy a lot of goals at the Vitality because these two teams have plenty of attacking quality within their ranks. Both sides are also in good form ahead of Tuesday. Bournemouth are eight games unbeaten in the top flight, while Brentford have won five of their previous six away fixtures in this competition.
Over 3.5 goals is priced generously at 13/8 (implied probability of 38.1%) considering no team has been involved in more games featuring four-plus goals in the Premier League this term than Bournemouth - 50% (14/28).
This includes the reverse fixture against Brentford which they lost 4-1. This selection has also struck in three of their last five home league matches.
There have been at least four goals scored in three of the visitors' past five away trips in the league, including their latest two. Three of the previous five league meetings between the two teams have also produced over 3.5 goals.
I think we could be in for a cracking contest on the South Coast.

Anytime Goalscorer - Kevin Schade @ 21/10
Kevin Schade is a player who Bournemouth will likely be fearing the most coming into this clash. The German attacker was the star of the show in the reverse fixture by netting a hat-trick for Brentford in the 4-1 victory in west London.
Since that stunning display, the 24-year-old has netted just once in the Premier League, but it did come last time out against Burnley. I think this will give him an injection of confidence ahead of his trip to Dorset, but he should already be looking forward to facing a side he tormented back in December.
The Cherries have improved a lot since then, but so have the Bees, who are much more of a threat on their travels. I am anticipating a lot of goals in this game and I think Schade is a leading candidate to grab one.
