Premier League clubs may have been running around like madmen on transfer deadline day, however, there’s a whole set of top flight fixtures to look forward to this weekend. We’ve put together a Premier League treble to consider.

Crystal Palace to beat Wolves 

Crystal Palace have had one win, one draw and one defeat so far, and look to already be set for another comfortable mid-table finish just three games in. They won’t be troubled by relegation, and have a whole host of exciting talent at their disposal. 

The same can’t be said of Wolves. They may have beaten Everton last time out, but they’ve now lost Matheus Nunes to Manchester City and look far weaker than they were at the start of the window. Another away defeat would be painful, and Palace have all the quality to deliver it to Gary O’Neil’s side. 

Sheffield United to beat Everton

In the battle between two winless sides, we are leaning towards the home side. It’s unlikely to be a thrilling encounter, but Sheffield United showed enough on home soil against Manchester City to prove they have a shot of staying up this season. Everton don’t look like they are quite in that conversation yet. 

When you take into account home advantage, and the new signings coming through the door including Cameron Archer, they look like a decent outfit. The likes of Gustavo Hamer, Vini Souza and Archer have all improved their starting XI and now they will look to put Everton to the sword. 

The Toffees have looked short of ideas and quality this season and new signing Beto may improve them, but United just appear to be more cohesive at this current moment. Home win. 

Tottenham Hotspur to beat Burnley

From what we have seen from Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham, they could be a major force this season. With Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison looking like a wonderful trio behind Richarlison, and with Yves Bissouma dominating the midfield, they should be able to secure a win at Turf Moor.

At Bournemouth, a comparable team to Burnley, they utterly dominated. They pinned the home side in and simply outplayed them, securing a comfortable 2-0 win. We could see more of the same here, even though Burnley will be desperate to get off and running.
