Meanwhile, Georgia go into the tournament without the injured defenders, Empoli’s Saba Goglichidze and Luka Latsabidza of Chornomorets Odessa.

Poland U21 vs Georgia U21 Odds

Poland are favourites to win the game at 10/11, implying a 52.4% probability of success, while Georgia can be backed at 3/1, or a 25% chance, and the draw is available at 23/10.

Over 2.5 goals is 1/1 while 5/6 is available for both teams to score. Poland’s Katowice striker Filip Szymczak is the 9/2 favourite to score the game’s first goal.

Match Result - Poland U21 @ 10/11

Poland performed well to take 22 points from their 10 qualifying games, finishing just four points behind Germany in their group and they will have high hopes of getting into the knockout stage of the Under-21 Euros despite having to face Portugal and France.

Adam Majewski’s team have been full of goals, scoring three or more in five of their last six matches, a run that includes coming back from 3-1 down to draw with the Germans.

They also beat 2023 semi-finalists Israel, and there is scope for them to get past Georgia in their opener.

Their opponents needed penalties to get past Croatia in a playoff to seal their place in Slovakia, and it has to be a concern that they scored just 14 goals in their 10 qualifiers, so a Polish victory looks to be on the cards.

Anytime Goalscorer - Filip Szymczak (POL) @ 7/4

Poland’s Filip Szymczak got a run of games towards the end of the season after joining Katowice from Lech Poznan, and he heads into this tournament in fine form.

He had 13 efforts on goal in four matches for his club side, scoring against Legia Warsaw and Lechia Gdansk, and has proved himself at this level with five goals in the qualifying campaign.

Those strikes included a vital winner in a 1-0 win in Estonia and a brace in a 5-0 home victory over the same opposition.

He scored the winner when coming on as a substitute in a 3-2 friendly win over Ukraine in their final warm-up game, and there looks to be a good chance he will hit the ground running with a goal on Wednesday.
