Poland and Georgia will know that tougher tests may be around the corner in the European Under-21 Championship after they were grouped with France and Portugal, so that should ensure a hotly contested, entertaining affair when they play their opening game in Zilina on Wednesday (20:00, Channel 4 Sport YouTube).

He had 13 efforts on goal in four matches for his club side, scoring against Legia Warsaw and Lechia Gdansk, and has proved himself at this level with five goals in the qualifying campaign.

Those strikes included a vital winner in a 1-0 win in Estonia and a brace in a 5-0 home victory over the same opposition.

He scored the winner when coming on as a substitute in a 3-2 friendly win over Ukraine in their final warm-up game, and there looks to be a good chance he will hit the ground running with a goal on Wednesday.
