Two teams battling at different ends of the table meet at Home Park on Tuesday, when 16th-place Plymouth take on promotion-hopefuls West Brom.

A sold-out Hawthorns could not propel West Brom to victory against Southampton on Friday as the Baggies looked to celebrate their new takeover.

However, Carlos Corberan’s men are still in the mix for a top-six finish and arrive to take on Plymouth in a confident mood.

Here we pick out the best bets for Tuesday’s Championship clash, kicking off at 19:45.

Team News

Darko Gyabi will be back for Plymouth after missing their last outing against Leeds due to the Whites being his parent club.

Mustapha Bundu will be looking for more minutes after returning to the substitutes bench last time out following a calf injury.

Injuries will keep Josh Maja and Daryl Dike out of this matchup for West Brom, meaning that Brandon Thomas-Asante is likely to continue leading the line. Kyle Bartley is also absent with a calf issue.

Match Odds

West Brom can be backed at EVS for the victory, while Plymouth are 13/5 outsiders and the draw is 13/5.

Over 2.5 goals is on offer at 8/11, while both teams to score is priced at 4/6 and it is 13/8 for over 1.5 goals in the first half.

West Brom to win @ EVS

West Brom were unlucky not to get something from Friday’s clash against Southampton as they were denied a penalty to level the game before the Saints eventually ran out 2-0 winners.

The Baggies had taken seven points from the last nine available before that and news of the club’s takeover is sure to have increased the positive feeling around the team.

Only the top two have conceded fewer goals than the Baggies’ 31 and that defensive fortitude could be the difference between the two teams when they visit Plymouth.

Only two teams have conceded more than Argyle’s 54 in 32 games and they have only won two of their last ten games.

With a leaky defence that was picked apart by Leeds at the weekend, Plymouth look likely to fall to defeat in front of their home support when they host the play-off chasing West Brom.

Ryan Hardie to score anytime @ 9/4

Despite their defensive frailties, Plymouth have been strong going forward this season and a key part of that has been the efforts of striker Ryan Hardie.

The Scottish forward has 11 goals in 26 championship appearances and could pose a real threat to the West Brom backline.

Argyle have yet to take a league penalty since the departure of their main taker Finn Azaz but Hardie scored a spot kick in the FA Cup last month and looks likely to be on penalty duties once more.
