Over 2.5 Goals Tips: 10/1 five-fold from Saturday’s offering

With a wide range of football coming our way on Saturday, it feels only right that we return with another Over 2.5 goals accumulator. I've not gone adventurous this week, selecting just five matches in which I feel there will be at least three goals scored.
My focus is on the Football League, with my over 2.5 goals tips coming from the Premier League, Championship and League 1. You can read all about them below.

Aston Villa vs Southampton @ 2/5
Aston Villa ended an eight-game winless streak in all competitions with a 3-1 triumph over Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday. That win will have eased a lot of pressure on the players and manager Unai Emery, who was experiencing some backlash from supporters for the first time in his two years at the club.
Another home game comes around quickly for the Villans, as they entertain strugglers Southampton at Villa Park on Saturday. The Saints have won just one game this season and they have conceded a whopping 30 goals in 14 games.
Over 2.5 goals has been a winning selection in four of Villa's clashes on home soil, while also striking in three of Southampton's trips on the road. The hosts will be buoyed by their three-goal display last time out, as well as the fact that the Saints leaked five goals to Chelsea at St Mary's in their previous appearance.
Brentford vs Newcastle United @ 8/15
Brentford have been great entertainers in the top flight this year and they return to their happy place, the Gtech Community Stadium, on Saturday. The Bees have had a lot more success at home this season than on their travels, winning six of their seven games on home soil.
Goals have been frequent in these matches, too, as over 2.5 goals has landed in each of those six victories. Brentford have managed this threshold alone in each of their last five games.
Newcastle United travel to west London off the back of a thrilling 3-3 draw with league leaders Liverpool in midweek. The Magpies have seen three goals scored in four of their seven trips on the road this term, including two of their last three.
Queens Park Rangers vs Norwich City @ 5/6
Norwich City will be gunning for a third win on the bounce in the Championship on Saturday as they head to face Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. The Canaries ended a seven-game winless streak in style with a 6-1 win over Plymouth Argyle, followed by a 4-2 victory against Luton Town.
I like the look of their attacking form heading into the weekend, and over 2.5 goals has struck in four of their nine fixtures on the road to date. For QPR, they have seen the same return in their home games, so this could bode well for another goal-fest involving Norwich on Saturday.
The Canaries are also aided by having the division's top scorer, Borja Sainz, in their ranks, with the attacker netting 15 goals in the first 18 matches of the campaign. He heads here in strong form and can cause a lot of problems for the Rs.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Burton Albion vs Wrexham @ 5/6
League 1 strugglers Burton Albion host high-flyers Wrexham on Saturday, with the Red Dragons on a three-game winning streak. The Brewers won their last outing against Peterborough United but this followed two losses on the bounce.
One of them was another home clash against a team near the top of the table in Stockport County, which they were comfortably beaten 3-0. Over 2.5 goals has landed a further four times at the Pirelli Stadium this season, and Wrexham have had a few occasions where they have been prolific in front of goal.
The Red Dragons have scored at least three goals in five of their 18 matches to date in the third tier, and I sense they could extend that tally to six against a side struggling at the lower end of the table.
Wycombe Wanderers vs Reading @ 4/7
Leaders Wycombe Wanderers saw their 11-game winning run across all competitions come to an end in midweek at Exeter City. The Chairboys were able to salvage a draw after going two goals down, which will have still given them some confidence moving forward.
They welcome Reading to Adams Park on Saturday, with the Royals currently sat sixth in the table. Over 2.5 goals has landed in four of Wycombe's seven home games so far, as well as in seven of Reading's nine outings on the road.
Both teams are in good form heading into this, so I think there will be no shortage of goals on offer.
