The weekend is upon us, which can only mean one thing, a feast of football lies in store. It's that time of the week where punters will want to seek value in their bets for the weekend and in most cases, it is building a suitable accumulator.

We're back with making an over 2.5 goals acca of our own. In my last one, we saw four out of our six tips land, and I'm eager to get them all right this time around. I've gone one bigger this week, selecting seven matches that combined, produce a whopping 22/1 acca. Below I have detailed the selections for my over 2.5 goals tips.

Over 2.5 Goals Tips

  • Crystal Palace vs Manchester City @ 8/13
  • Fulham vs Newcastle United @ 8/15
  • Luton Town vs AFC Bournemouth @ 1/2
  • Wolverhampton Wanderers vs West Ham United @ 4/6
  • Norwich City vs Ipswich Town @ 8/13
  • Blackburn Rovers vs Southampton @ 4/9
  • Coventry City vs Leeds United @ 8/13

Over 2.5 goals acca pays at 22.34/1

Crystal Palace vs Manchester City @ 8/13

Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City put on a four-goal display in midweek as they defeated Aston Villa 4-1. Phil Foden grabbed his second league hat-trick of the season in what was another stunning performance from the England international.

The Cityzens will be fired up for their trip to Crystal Palace as they still have ground to make up in the title race. They've now scored 67 goals this season and only Arsenal (72) have scored more.

The Eagles themselves have leaked 50 goals this term and with their recent form, you get the feeling that they will be in for a rough afternoon at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Fulham vs Newcastle United @ 8/15

Fulham have been one of the strangest teams to watch in the Premier League this year. They go through phases of being good and then terrible.

They're currently in a bad phase after they were beaten 3-1 by Nottingham Forest in midweek, after having to salvage a draw against Sheffield United last weekend - with both these results following a huge 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Newcastle United will be licking their lips to face the Cottagers this weekend after they have conceded six goals in their last two matches. Attacking duo Alexander Isak and Harvey Barnes have been in excellent form for the Magpies and they will be primed to inflict more misery on Marco Silva's men.

Luton Town vs AFC Bournemouth @ 1/2

Cast your mind back to last month when these two sides last met. Bournemouth were 4-3 winners, having come back from 3-0 down at half-time. It was a stunning comeback from the Cherries, but yet another crushing blow for the Hatters' survival hopes.

Rob Edwards' side will be eager to get revenge at Kenilworth Road this weekend as they look to end a run of 10 games without a win. Luton have been competitive in their games and before their 2-0 loss to Arsenal in midweek, they had scored in 20 consecutive matches.

We think that we could be in for another cracker between these two teams this weekend.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs West Ham United @ 4/6

West Ham were 3-0 winners when they played Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium back in December. Top scorer Jarrod Bowen netted twice with the club's second-top scorer, Mohammed Kudus netting the other. All goals were assisted by the Hammers' other crucial attacking player in Lucas Paqueta.

We're expecting these three to once again play a huge role in this fixture but Molineux isn't an easy place to go to, and Gary O'Neil's side could be boosted by the return of their leading marksman, Matheus Cunha.

Norwich City vs Ipswich Town @ 8/13

The East Anglian derby delivered four goals at Portman Road earlier in the season as Norwich City and Ipswich Town drew 2-2. With so much riding on this game for both teams, we think that there could be another goal-fest in store.

The Canaries boast the attacking talents of Josh Sargent and Gabriel Sara, while the Tractor Boys have Nathan Broadhead, Conor Chaplin, Kieffer Moore, Omari Hutchinson and more.

Goals should not be in short supply here.

Blackburn Rovers vs Southampton @ 4/9

The Championship's two leading scorers go head-to-head at Ewood Park this weekend as Blackburn Rovers welcome Southampton. Rovers' Sammie Szmodics leads the way with 23 goals, followed by the Saints' Adam Armstrong on 20, who returns to his old stomping ground.

If we're being honest, these two players can settle this selection alone.

Coventry City vs Leeds United @ 8/13

Two teams that can score goals meet at the Coventry Buiding Society Arena this weekend. Coventry City have been getting the best out of forward Ellis Simms in recent weeks with the player netting six goals in his last four league outings.

Then you have Leeds who have prolific goalscorers in Crysencio Summerville, Joel Piroe, Dan James, Georginio Rutter to name a few. This one should be an entertaining affair.
