Brentford vs Nottingham Forest @ 4/6

Brentford have been a gift to punters this season for goals and they are arguably the biggest entertainers in the Premier League. They're in action on Saturday as they welcome Nottingham Forest to the Gtech Community Stadium.

Much has been said about how the Bees are two different teams when they play at home and when they play away. They're brilliant on their own turf, having won seven of their eight games there in the top flight. Whereas they are yet to win a game on the road this term.

At the Gtech we can always expect a strong display filled with goals. Over 2.5 goals has struck in seven of their matches here so far, so I believe this trend can continue against the Tricky Trees. Each of the last five matches in this part of west London have seen at least three goals scored, and it's been smashed with ease in every single one.

Forest have seen this market land in five of their eight away games, while three goals have been reached in all of their last three Premier League encounters.

West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion @ 8/15

Like Brentford, over 2.5 goals has been common on home soil for West Ham United. Seven of their eight clashes at the London Stadium have featured at least three goals, including their last two appearances here against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal.

Three of their last four outings in the top flight have seen over 2.5 goals land, and I think this trend can strike again in their next fixture.

The Hammers host Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend, who are on a streak of three matches in which over 2.5 goals has been a winning selection. Also, this market has landed in each of their last four away games in the top flight, so everything does point towards there being a few goals on offer in east London.

Portsmouth vs Coventry City @ 4/5

In the Championship, strugglers Portsmouth welcome Coventry City to Fratton Park in an early kick-off (12:30) that will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event. Both these teams rank in the top three in the second tier for over 2.5 goals this season.

For Pompey, it has struck in 12 of their 19 games to date, while it is 12 in 21 for the Sky Blues. There have been at least three goals scored in three of the last four league games at Fratton Park, while four of the last five Pompey matches in the Championship have featured over 2.5 goals.

I like the look of this one, so I think goals are to be expected.

Sunderland vs Norwich City @ 5/6

After a recent wobble, Sunderland look to be getting on track after winning two of their last three league games. They're in action at the Stadium of Light on Saturday as they entertain Norwich City.

The Black Cats have seen over 2.5 goals strike in just four of their 10 home games to date, which feels quite low considering how well their campaign has gone so far. Norwich's record for this market on the road isn't much better with five from 11, so you may wonder why I think we will see three goals scored here?

Two of the last three games at the Stadium of Light have featured over 2.5 goals, while in their recent away game at Swansea City, Sunderland reached this threshold single-handedly by scoring three.

For Norwich, three of their last four matches have produced at least three goals, so I think the recent form bodes well for this selection on Wearside.

Harrogate Town vs Walsall @ 10/11

Moving down to League 2, leaders Walsall head to Harrogate Town hoping to build on their four-point cushion at the top. The Saddlers are the joint-top scorers in the division with 35 goals and over 2.5 goals has struck in 10 of their 19 clashes to date. It has been more frequent for them at home as on the road this has been a winning selection on just three occasions.

The reason I fancy their fortunes to change here is because Harrogate have been in a habit of being involved in matches that produce at least three goals. In five of their last six outings in the fourth tier, over 2.5 goals has been a winning selection.

Their recent home game saw them lose 3-0 to AFC Wimbledon. Seeing as Walsall are a stronger attacking side than the Dons, I think there will be a few goals on offer in this part of Yorkshire.

Notts County vs Bradford City @ 8/11

It's 10th v 11th in League 2 this weekend as Bradford City head to Notts County. Their records so far are practically identical as they've both won, drawn and lost (seven, seven and five) the same number of games. The Magpies have scored one more goal than the Bantams, while the visitors have conceded two less goals than the hosts.

Over 2.5 goals may have only struck twice at Meadow Lane this season but County's last two games in all competitions saw this selection land with ease against Walsall and Peterborough United.

There have been at least three goals scored in four of Bradford's 10 away games this term. It's not another encouraging return but seeing as this is a clash between two sides aiming for promotion this year, I do think this will spark an exciting clash on Saturday in Nottingham - and one that should feature a few goals.
