Norway take on the Czech Republic at Ullevaal Stadion on Friday evening (17:00) in an international friendly. For the visitors, this game will be viewed as a nice warm-up in their preparations for Euro 2024 in the summer.

The hosts will be looking to star Premier League duo Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard for inspiration in this clash. Haaland scored six goals in five Euro qualifiers as Norway failed to secure their spot in Germany for the summer.

The attacking threat that both he and Odegaard carry will provide the Czech Republic a worthy test as they bid to have another fruitful Euros campaign, after reaching the quarter-finals in 2021.

A player who played a key role that summer was attacker Patrik Schick, who scored five goals in as many appearances. He will be looking to get back into that sort of form on the international stage ahead of this year's tournament in Germany.

When it comes to international friendlies, it is tough to make predictions when there is nothing on the line. However, we like the look of this market which could see Norway post just their second victory over the Czech Republic.

The hosts have lost just two of their last six matches on home soil and they are unbeaten in their last two matches home and away. They most recently played out a six-goal thriller against Scotland, who have also made it to Euro 2024, back in November.

A result against the Scots will have the Norwegians feeling as though that they can give the Czech Republic a tough test and with the two Premier League stars already mentioned at their disposal, it's hard not to see why.

We have already given our reasonings as to why we think goals shouldn't be an issue in this game, but we do fancy Norway to come away with a result in this one because they have been very strong at home of late.
