Morocco vs Madagascar Prediction: Hosts to extend unbeaten streak in style

Africa Cup of Nations champions Morocco continue their World Cup preparations against Madagascar on Tuesday. After their run to the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar four years ago, the Atlas Lions will be aiming to impress on the world stage once again.
Morocco face Brazil, Scotland and Haiti in Group C and they're aiming to extend an unbeaten streak that started in March 2024 into this summer's finals. There's little chance of that being snapped in this clash, with Madagascar massive outsiders. Read on for my Morocco vs Madagascar predictions.

Team News
Morocco are without two key names, as Achraf Hakimi and Brahim Diaz are both unavailable for Tuesday's fixture.
Manchester United's Noussair Mazraoui, Crystal Palace defender Chadi Riad and Sunderland winger Chemsdine Talbi could all feature.
Madagascar are missing 14-goal striker Njiva Rakotoharimalala, while Young Boys midfielder Rayan Raveloson is expected to captain the side.
Morocco are as short as 1/9 to pick up a victory on Tuesday, while Madagascar are massive 18/1 outsiders. The draw is 13/2, suggesting that the Atlas Lions can continue their unbeaten run with another victory.
The hosts are as short as 2/5 to secure another win to nil, but there's a chance that Madagascar can score a consolation goal.
Morocco to win and over 2.5 goals @ 1/2
Morocco have won 24 of their last 27 games, the latest of which saw them thump Burundi 5-0.
Madagascar finished second in their World Cup qualifying group, but they suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Ghana, along with a 4-1 loss in Mali.
They started the year with positive results in friendly matches against Kyrgyzstan and Equatorial Guinea, but this is a massive step up in class.
However, Morocco will be without a couple of key names and the usually solid Atlas Lions have conceded in two of their three games in 2026.
The visitors scored 17 goals across their 10 qualifiers and they've now scored in six successive matches.
Morocco should have too much quality for the visitors, but Madagascar could find their way onto the scoresheet again. Either way, expect a few goals in Rabat, so a home win and over 2.5 goals to be scored stands out.

Morocco to win 3-1 @ 12/1
Madagascar fell short in their real tests last year, suffering a 3-1 defeat to DR Congo in June and then a 4-1 loss to Mali in November.
Even without Hakimi and Diaz, Morocco will have fringe players aiming to impress. They can ease to another victory in Rabat, but Madagascar look good to extend their scoring streak.
