Millonarios have collected just two points from their opening four Copa Libertadores group matches, so a win over Palestino on Wednesday (KO, 03:00) is vital to their hopes of claiming a place in the last 16.

Their Chilean opponents are in a much stronger position having won their last two matches, which included a 3-1 home success against the Colombians in Santiago last month. Read below for my Millonarios vs Palestino prediction, where you can also find out all the latest team news and match odds.

Millonarios are 1/2 to gain their first victory over the group stage, while visitors Palestino are 5/1 to boost their qualification chances with three points. The draw is available at 11/4.

Both teams to score is an 11/10 chance, while over 2.5 goals can be backed at 1/1.

Millonarios’s last three home Libertadores games have all finished 1-1, which is a 13/2 chance on Wednesday, while their striker Leonardo Castro is 100/30 to score the first goal.

Palestino or draw double chance @ 7/5

Millonarios have given themselves plenty of work to do to qualify for the last 16 of the Copa Libertadores, and they have failed to win their last two home matches in the tournament against Bolivar and Flamengo.

The altitude in Bogota gives them an advantage but they could be up against it when they face Palestino, who have already beaten them 3-1 in the reverse fixture.

Their Chilean visitors may not be as intimidated by the heights as some others may be and they have recovered well from losing their opening two games.

A draw would still give them a great chance of progressing to the last 16, probably behind unbeaten Bolivar, and they are capable of getting at least a point on their visit to Colombia.

Palestino or draw vs Millonarios at 7-5

#PickYourPunt - Both teams to score, Junior Marabal to score & over 0.5 first-half goals @ 5/1

There looks to be a strong chance that both teams will score as Millonarios’ 1-0 league win over Deportivo Pereira on Sunday was only the second time in 10 home matches that they have not conceded.

And it could be Paraguayan striker Junior Marabal who leads the charge for the visitors. He has netted in his last two league games for the team who sit third in the Chilean league standings and has had 14 goal attempts in his last four matches, so he knows where the goal is.

Then the #PickYourPunt can be completed by backing there to be over 0.5 goals in the first half, something that has happened in each of Millonarios’s last nine matches.

#PickYourPunt in Millonarios vs Palestino at 5-1
