Manchester City vs Manchester United Predictions
Manchester City vs Manchester United Odds
The Citizens are 8/13 favourites, but that price would have looked generous a couple of months ago before they hit the skids. The Red Devils have lost successive Premier League games and trade at 4/1 to win here, with the draw priced at 18/5.
Double Chance punters can have United and the draw at 13/10, while both teams to score is 1/2 - and over 3.5 Manchester derby goals is 11/10.
Team News
Guardiola is missing key defenders John Stones, Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji, while Rico Lewis is suspended after being dismissed in the 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace last weekend, ensuring teenager Jahmai Simpson-Pusey is touted for a second Premier League start this season at centre-back.
Mateo Kovacic and Phil Foden made the bench in midweek against Juventus in more positive news, but long-term absentees Rodri and Oscar Bobb remain missing.
The visitors will make do without Luke Shaw, but Jonny Evans is their only other worry as Amorim crosses Manchester with most of his resources intact.
Manchester City to win and both teams to score @ 13/8
City don't appear to have the wherewithal to keep clean sheets right now, with just one in their last 10 attempts as they have remarkably slid to seven defeats and two draws in that sequence.
Here at the Etihad only Southampton and Nottingham Forest have failed to oblige with a goal out of their seven Premier League visitors this season.
Since the start of November, City have conceded more goals (21) than any club in Europe's traditional big-five leagues.
Both teams have scored in seven of the last eight meetings between City and United and the Red Devils have notched in their last three visits here.
Allowing for all of that, Amorim's team have conceded nine goals in his six-game tenure, with only Everton firing a blank.
They have lost back-to-back league games and this United side still look to be carrying too many passengers too often. This should be entertaining, with City to outscore their visitors in the end.

Phil Foden to score first @ 11/2
There's no question that Phil Foden hasn't scaled the heights expected this season. He still hasn't scored a Premier League goal, though he does have three in the Champions League.
The sight of United shirts may inspire him. Foden has scored six goals in his last four Premier League appearances against the Red Devils.
The 24-year-old was fit enough for the bench in Turin in midweek and looks sure to have a key role here as City try to get out of their current malaise.
He's a strong anytime goal contender at 15/8 and is backed to open the scoring.
