Three weeks after a dramatic FA Cup quarter-final clash, Manchester United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford once again on Sunday, this time in what could prove to be a pivotal Premier League encounter as Jurgen Klopp's side look to maintain control in this season's title race.

With so much on the line in this fixture, we have called on the expertise of former England number one Paul Robinson to discover his Man United vs Liverpool bet builder tips. Robbo's three-leg bet builder, using Betfred's #PickYourPunt feature, offers odds of 13/5.

Liverpool to win

Of course, these two sides played out a classic FA Cup tie last month, and that defeat will have hurt Jurgen Klopp, and he has the perfect opportunity to make amends come Sunday.

What's not a guarantee is what Manchester United side turn up. They were excellent in spells in the cup win here before two ridiculous games on the spin against Brentford and Chelsea saw them throw away five points in the dying moments.

Perhaps one cause for optimism for United is the fact that Liverpool have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last six, however, the Reds head into Sunday's match having won 10 of their last 12 matches in all competitions, losing only once, and I can only see one winner this weekend.

Both teams to score

Both teams aren't renowned for keeping clean sheets - in fact, after Thursday night's defeat to Chelsea, United have now faced the highest amount of shots in the league, so Liverpool are bound to get chances. Injuries have also depleted United's backline - they could be without as many as six first-team defenders and are likely to face a barrage of attacks.

The question is whether United can take advantage of any opportunities that may come their way. They did manage to stick four past the Reds in the FA Cup win, and as mentioned above, Liverpool haven't kept a clean sheet in their last six outings.

For all of United's defensive frailties, they've managed to score 22 goals in their past five matches, so I'm predicting goals at both ends on Sunday.

Darwin Nunez to score anytime

No Liverpool player has seen more shots on target (41) across the course of this Premier League season than the Reds' no 9 - he averages the highest amount among all players in England's top-flight who have featured at least 10 times.

He's netted 18 times in 44 appearances across all competitions, and was heavily involved in the aforementioned FA Cup clash, recording two assists. He'll be eager to get on the scoresheet this time around, and he's bagged in his last two away league outings for the Reds, so the Uruguay international coming into this clash in decent form.

Betfred are running their famed Double Delight & Hat-trick Heaven offer on this match, meaning that if a player scores first and then nets again, you will be paid at double the odds. If he grabs a hat-trick, you will be paid at treble the odds.
