Manchester United will be aiming to make it back-to-back Premier League victories at Old Trafford, when they welcome Bournemouth to the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday afternoon (15:00).

The Red Devils secured a morale-boosting 2-1 win against Chelsea in midweek, while the Cherries put in a stellar display away at Crystal Palace.

Man Utd vs Bournemouth Prediction

  • Man Utd to win and both teams to score @ 9/5
  • Scott McTominay to score anytime @ 3/1

Team News

United continue to deal with a stacked injury list, and will once again be without the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Mason Mount and Tyrell Malacia this weekend. Raphael Varane missed the victory against Chelsea with a sore back, and it remains to be seen whether he'll be fit enough to feature here.

As for Bournemouth, skipper Lloyd Kelly remains absent, while the Cherries will also be unable to call upon the services of Max Aarons, Ryan Fredricks and Tyler Adams.

Match Odds

Man Utd are favourites at 8/15, while Bournemouth are 9/2 to claim the three points with the draw 18/5.

Both teams to score is 8/13, and over 2.5 goals can be backed at 8/15.

Man Utd to win and both teams to score @ 9/5

United needed a response in midweek after a poor display against Newcastle last weekend, and Erik ten Hag will know the importance of using that performance as a platform to build on.

For all the criticism United have endured this season, they enter this weekend (at the time of writing) just three points adrift of the Champions League places, and United have won seven of their last eight showdowns with the Cherries.

In fact, Bournemouth have lost their last four visits to Old Trafford, but Andoni Iraola's men looked to have turned a corner in recent weeks, picking up 10 points from the last 12 available.

United have only kept two clean sheets at home in the league all season, so Bournemouth will feel that they can get at their backline, but I think the Red Devils will see this as an opportunity to kick on, before a difficult trip to Anfield next weekend.

Scott McTominay to score anytime @ 3/1

The Scotland international was United's hero in midweek, bagging himself a brace in the 2-1 victory over Chelsea, and with the form he's in, I'm expecting the 27-year-old to retain his place in the engine room here.

McTominay has scored four in his last six appearances for club and country, and eight in 22 overall, making it his best season, in terms of goals, to date.

Four of his five league goals have come at Old Trafford, and at 3/1, I think he's a decent option to be an anytime goalscorer on Saturday.
