Erling Haaland to score anytime

Manchester City drew blanks in both of their meetings with Arsenal last season but they should be able to find a way through this weekend as their attack has been in fine form in the Premier League. The defending champions have hit 11 goals in just four games and Erling Haaland has scored nine of those, including two hat-tricks.

The Norwegian has scored in all four of his Premier League appearances this term as well as in seven of his last nine games in this competition stretching back into last season. Haaland is the clear standout pick for an anytime goal here as City bid to continue their perfect start to the season and make the most of home advantage against their biggest title rival.

William Saliba 3+ tackles

Keeping Haaland quiet will take a collective effort from the Arsenal backline, but Frenchman William Saliba may well shoulder the majority of that responsibility.

Saliba is averaging a hefty four tackles per game after four rounds of Premier League fixtures. The 23-year-old has executed at least four tackles in three of his league outings and has recorded at least two in every game he has played across all competitions.

Saliba will probably be busier this Sunday than he is most weekends against City’s slick attack, so he should be able to complete at least three tackles.

Bukayo Saka 2+ shots on target

Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has managed just one goal in four league appearances this season but he has been getting plenty of chances and looks a good value pick for at least two on target at the Etihad Stadium.

The England international is averaging 2.8 attempts per game and the majority of those are coming from close range, with 2.3 shots per game from inside the penalty area. Saka tends to be fairly accurate as he averages 1.8 attempts per game on target so he may well be able to manage two or more shots on target on Sunday, particularly if Arsenal find themselves chasing the game at any point.
