Man City to win

City go into this game as favourites, and probably rightly so.

Pep Guardiola's side are unbeaten since their 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa on December 6 - a run of 22 games across all competitions - and the only time they've dropped points has been in draws against Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Liverpool.

City are also seeking a fifth-consecutive home win, and will feel like they have a psychological edge over Arsenal, considering how they chased down the Gunners to beat them to the title last season.

The Etihad remains a fortress for City - they're still unbeaten in front of their own supporters this campaign. Yet, Arsenal are the league's best travellers, and nobody has picked up more points on the road, so whilst they can make this a competitive affair, there's only one winner for me.

Both teams to score

Guardiola's Sky Blues blanked in October's reverse fixture between these two title rivals, but that is only one of two games in which City have failed to net across their 28 Premier League outings so far.

The reigning Premier League champions have scored 15 goals in their past five matches across all competitions, however they've conceded in nine of their 14 home games this term.

Whilst Mikel Arteta's men boast the best defensive record in the Premier League this season, they've also failed to keep the back door shut in seven of their last 11 league outings, which doesn't bode well ahead of a crucial tie at the Etihad.

At the other end, however, the Gunners have been scoring for fun, netting 33 goals in the last eight games to become the league’s leading scorers, so I'm predicting goals at both ends on Sunday.

Over 59.5 booking points

Recent league meetings between these two have got a little feisty, with four or more cards shown in each of the last four meetings.

That average is likely to be maintained by Sunday's referee Anthony Taylor, who is third amongst top-flight officials for yellows per game this season with an average of 5.15.

Both sides have contenders to be shown a booking - Rodri has been cautioned eight times so far this campaign, while Bernardo Silva and Kai Havertz have both picked up seven.

Betfred are running their famed Double Delight & Hat-trick Heaven offer on this match, meaning that if a player scores first and then nets again, you will be paid at double the odds. If he grabs a hat-trick, you will be paid at treble the odds!
