Luton Town host Brighton & Hove Albion at Kenilworth Road in the Premier League on Tuesday evening (19:45), looking to end their two-game streak without a win in the top-flight.

Brighton had to settle for a goalless draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers in their previous league outing and they have won just two of their last seven.

They were 4-1 victors over the Hatters back in August at the Amex Stadium and Roberto De Zerbi will be very grateful for a similar result here.

Luton vs Brighton Betting Tips

  • Brighton and both teams to score - 2/1
  • Joao Pedro to score anytime - 5/4

Match Odds

Luton are at an interesting price of 7/2 to cause more frustration for the Seagulls. A draw can be backed at 3/1, and it is worth noting that three of Brighton's last four league results have been stalemates. Brighton are 3/5 to come away with the three points.

Both teams to score has landed in Luton's last three matches and it is priced at 8/13 for this encounter. Over 2.5 goals is valued at the same odds.

Team News

Tom Lockyer and Marvelous Nakamba are the two main injured absentees for the Hatters. Gabriel Osho is a doubt to feature after he did not make the squad for his side's FA Cup fourth-round victory over Everton at the weekend. Mads Anderson's wait to return to action could continue as he recovers from a calf problem.

Issa Kabore is with Burkina Faso at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Brighton are still missing Solly March, Julio Enciso, Joel Veltman and Ansu Fati due to injury, while Simon Adingra and Kaoru Mitoma are away on AFCON and Asian Cup duty respectively.

Brighton and both teams to score @ 2/1

We like the look of this selection because although things have not been going to plan in the league for Brighton of late, they still have the quality within their ranks to get them back on course in their quest to secure European football again next season.

You only need to look at their 4-1 win over Luton earlier in the season to think that they can get another win over the Hatters. They are still missing some key players but they have been boosted by the return of Pervis Estupinan in recent weeks, who has been a key figure for De Zerbi.

With Joao Pedro in unstoppable form in front of goal this year, that proficiency always gives his team a huge chance of taking all the spoils. It hasn't happened much in recent weeks, but we think the Seagulls can register a hard-fought win here which could start a nice little run for them.

However, we do think Luton can get on the scoresheet here. They have come a long way since their defeat to Brighton back in August and on home soil they have proven time and again that they are a tough nut to crack. They won't roll over easy.

Brighton and both teams to score at 2/1

Joao Pedro to score anytime @ 5/4

Brighton's Brazilian striker has been excellent this season. He has 18 goals in all competitions for the Seagulls so far, what a way to mark your debut campaign. Joao Pedro has scored seven in his last five appearances, including a hat-trick against Sheffield United in the FA Cup fourth-round at the weekend.

He will be heading to Kenilworth Road high on adrenaline and he will be eager to end his two-game streak in the Premier League without a goal. Given that he has 18 goals already this term, it's pleasantly surprising that you can still find value in him to score at any point during a game.

And with him scoring against Luton in the reverse fixture back in August, we feel that his 5/4 price is just too good to ignore.

Joao Pedro to score anytime at 5/4
