Liverpool take on Chelsea at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday (16:30, Sky Sports Main Event), looking for their fourth win on the bounce. They welcome a Chelsea side who are fourth in the table and four points behind them, and Enzo Maresca's men are unbeaten in their last six.

Below you will find my Liverpool vs Chelsea bet builder tips, which combined, pays out at an enticing 13/2.

Liverpool vs Chelsea Odds

Liverpool or draw

This should be an entertaining affair between two teams who have started the season well. Both Liverpool and Chelsea have lost just one game each this season in the top-flight, and so this is expected to be a very close encounter.

The Reds have won three on the bounce and Chelsea have taken three wins from their last five so it is hard to separate the two ahead of this clash on Super Sunday. As it's at Anfield, I'd give Liverpool the edge in this one, but I cannot write off Chelsea, who are continually improving under Maresca.

Arne Slot has started well in charge of Liverpool as well, so both will be experiencing one of their biggest tests to date since taking the reins of their respective clubs. I think this game should have no shortage of goals but in terms of a result, I am struggling.

So I think the smart play is to go with Liverpool or draw to add some insurance.

Both teams to score

Both teams have looked sharp going forward this season so I think there will be a number of goals on offer at Anfield. Liverpool have scored 13 times in their first seven matches in the league, while the Blues have netted 16.

This selection has not been a regular feature in the hosts' games this season, landing just once, but it has been a winning selection in four of Chelsea's matches in the top-flight.

They both are blessed with prolific goalscorers, with the Reds boasting Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota, while Chelsea have Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson.

I am confident that we will see goals go in at both ends in this one.

Over 2.5 goals

With that in mind, I also think over 2.5 goals is worth backing on Merseyside. There have been at least three goals scored in three of Chelsea's seven fixtures this term, but more interestingly, it has been a winning bet in two of their three trips on the road, so I can see this trend continuing at Liverpool.

For the Reds, over 2.5 goals has landed in three of their matches this season, but just once on home soil. However, I'm confident that this fixture will deliver the goods in terms of goals because of the attacking quality on offer.

Football Odds

Moises Caicedo to receive a card

Before joining Chelsea for over £100m, it looked like Moises Caicedo was going to be joining Liverpool from Brighton & Hove Albion, but as we know he joined the free-spending Blues.

The Ecuadorian is going to have a big part to play in midfield at Anfield on Sunday, and he is going to have a tough task in keeping quiet his former teammate Alexis Mac Allister, as well as Ryan Gravenberch.

The midfield battle will be key in this match, so I'm expecting a lot of duels in the middle of the park. Caicedo was constantly getting booked last season, finishing the campaign with 11 yellow cards.

He is often reckless in the challenge and he has already picked up two bookings this term. Caicedo has committed the joint-most fouls in a Chelsea shirt this season with 13, alongside Wesley Fofana, the player who has received the most yellow cards for the Blues and who is subsequently suspended for this match.

I think Caicedo offers good value to go into the book at Anfield as a result.

Mohamed Salah anytime goalscorer

With four goals and four assists in the Premier League, Salah has started the season in fine fashion for Liverpool. He will be itching to get back on the scoresheet after blanking against Crystal Palace last time out, and he will be looking to find more joy on home soil as most of his goals have come away from home.

He won't need much motivation for this clash as Chelsea are his former employers, and he already has four Premier League goals against the Blues in 13 appearances. I can see him adding to his tally this weekend.
