Liverpool vs Toulouse Betting Tips

  • Liverpool and both teams to score – 7/5
  • Luis Diaz to score anytime – 5/4

Match Odds

Due to their incredible strength at home as well as their strong start in Europe, Liverpool are as short as 1/6 to come away with the three points against Toulouse. The French side are priced at 10/1 to cause an upset, while a draw can be backed at 11/2.

Both these sides have found the back of the net in their previous two fixtures in Group E. Both teams to score in this contest is 5/6.

Over 2.5 goals is priced at 4/11, while over 3.5 goals is available at 5/6.

Team News

Andrew Robertson, Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic are ruled out through injury for Liverpool. Cody Gakpo has returned to training but it remains doubtful that he will be fit in time to make the squad on Thursday.

Toulouse have a few injury problems of their own. Zakaria Aboukhlal and Oliver Zanden are both sidelined, while Ibrahim Cissoko is a major doubt to be named in the matchday squad.

Liverpool and both teams to score @ 7/5

The Reds are heading into this match full of confidence after dispatching their rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby last weekend, despite not playing at their best. Jurgen Klopp will look for an improvement on that performance against Toulouse, even though there is likely going to be a few changes to the lineup.

In Liverpool’s last eight matches in all competitions, both teams have scored. They possess enough firepower, even with a rotated side, to get past their French opponents. But Toulouse have shown in their European clashes so far that they are not to be underestimated. They will be on hand to punish any lapses in concentration from the Reds.

Luis Diaz to score anytime @ 5/4

One Liverpool player who will be eager to get back among the goals is Luis Diaz.  The Colombian was last on the scoresheet in the victory over LASK in their opening Group E fixture, and he has scored three goals across all competitions so far this term.

He was robbed of a legitimate goal against Tottenham Hotspur last month due to a grave VAR error, so this will have only fuelled him further to get back on the scoresheet and into rhythm in front of goal.

After missing much of the last campaign through injury, Diaz will be hoping that this is the year he can show the supporters and manager Klopp what he’s about, as he looks to help the Reds challenge for more silverware.
