Los Blancos' tails will be up heading to Germany for this one after they comfortably defeated La Liga title challengers Girona 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu over the weekend.

The hosts were forced to settle for a point in the Bundesliga last time out as they drew 2-2 at Augsburg.

Below we have detailed some tips which may be useful in a bet builder for this clash

Real Madrid to win

Real Madrid are the Kings of Europe and their record 14 Champions League titles is living proof of that. No matter what happens at the club, whether they have an unbelievable side or one that is perceived to be below their usual standards, they always seem to excel and go far in this competition.

It is safe to say this year that Carlo Ancelotti has the former as his side is unquestionably one of the best in the world. It was Manchester City who thwarted them in the semi-finals last year, as Pep Guardiola's team avenged their exit from the season before at the hands of Real in the same round of the competition.

You have to say that City are one of a select few sides that can best Los Blancos, so RB Leipzig will know exactly what to expect on Tuesday night as they try to make sure that there is still a contest heading into the second leg.

Both teams to score

That being said, with Leipzig being on home soil, we do fancy Marco Rose's men to cause the visitors some problems. The German side have been given a boost by the news that Madrid's star player, Jude Bellingham, is going to be out injured for this clash, which might just give them a fighting chance.

They will also take confidence from last season, when Leipzig defeated their Spanish counterparts 3-2 on home soil in the group stage. While it doesn't seem like history will repeat itself here, you cannot say with confidence that Los Blancos will win without reply.

Rose's side are questionable defensively, but they can make things happen in the final third, and we fancy both teams to score to land in this fixture once again.

Vinicius Jr to score anytime

With Madrid's top scorer Bellingham out of action for this one, the onus will be on the other attacking stars to share the goalscoring burden for the next few games.

Brazilian sensation Vinicius Jr is no stranger to scoring his fair share of goals. He travels to Leipzig with confidence after scoring the opening goal against Girona at the weekend, taking his tally for the season in La Liga to seven.

The winger has also been on the scoresheet in Europe this term, having scored two times in three appearances in the Champions League. In Bellingham's absence, he will carry the most attacking threat of the Los Blancos' ranks, and we fancy him to score for a second successive match on Tuesday night.
