Defeat to Arsenal last Saturday made it five Premier League losses in a row for Leicester City (19th), who haven't scored a goal in the competition since a 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on December 8. On Friday (20:00, Sky Sports Main Event), the Foxes face Brentford (11th) at the King Power Stadium, desperate for a victory that would breathe life into their survival hopes.

Below you can find my Leicester vs Brentford Bet Builder tips, where I have combined four selections that offer a 16/1 payout.

Leicester vs Brentford Odds

Match Result - Brentford

Brentford failed to win any of their first eight Premier League away games this season, losing seven times, but post-Christmas, the Bees are four unbeaten on the road, winning their last three against Southampton (0-5), Crystal Palace (1-2) and West Ham United (0-1).

It's been contrasting fortunes for Leicester, who began the campaign by winning two and drawing two of the first seven seven home matches. The Foxes, have, however, lost five on the spin at the King Power, suffering defeats to Wolves, Manchester City, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Arsenal, going down 3-0 to Wolves before succumbing to four successive 2-0 losses in the East Midlands.

  • Only Southampton (20) have lost more PL games than Leicester (16) in 24/25
  • Brentford have won their last 3 PL away matches
  • The Bees won the reverse fixture 4-1 in November
  • The visitors (34) have double the PL points of their hosts (17)

The Bees were 1-0 down at home to Leicester in the 21st minute of November's reverse fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium but hit back four minutes later and went on to win 4-1 in west London.

Anytime Goalscorer - Kevin Schade (BRE)

German forward Kevin Schade was instrumental in Brentford's comeback at the Gtech, firing a hat-trick against the Foxes.

The 23-year-old put Thomas Frank's side in the lead in the 29th minute and scored his second to make it 3-1 in the eighth minute of first-half added time. He completed his hat-trick in the 59th minute with what proved to be the final strike of the game and he departed to a standing ovation 11 minutes later.

Schade scored in his next home game, a 4-2 victory over Newcastle United before enduring a five-match barren run which ended with a goal against Southampton on January 4 as the Bees ran out 5-0 winners at St Mary's Stadium.

  • Schade scored 3 in 4-1 win v Leicester on Nov 30
  • 7 goals in 25 PL apps in 24/25, 6 in 13 starts
  • Scored in last 3 PL away starts

The four-cap Germany international scored Brentford's second in a 2-1 triumph at Crystal Palace on January 26 and he struck the only goal of the game against West Ham at the London Stadium last Saturday - his third strike in his last four Premier League starts.

Schade is on seven for the season, despite 12 of his 25 league appearances coming as a substitute, and he will back himself to at least make it eight on Friday up against a side he stuck three past only a matter of months ago.

Football Odds

Player 1+ Shots on Target - Wilfred Ndidi (LEI)

Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi isn't an obvious candidate in this market, failing to score in any of his 16 Premier League outings this term, but the Nigeria international, once considered purely as a number six, enjoyed the highest-scoring league season of his career in England as a number eight under Enzo Maresca in 2023/24, netting four times in 32 Championship appearances.

His role has been changed again under Steve Cooper and now Ruud van Nistelrooy, but the 28-year-old is averaging 0.9 shots per game - and 0.4 shots on target per game - in the English top flight.

  • 2 shots on target in last 3 PL games
  • 0.4 shots on target p/g in 24/25 PL
  • 2 shots (1 on target) v Arsenal last Saturday
  • 4 Championship goals in 23/24

Ndidi tried his luck twice against Arsenal last Saturday, forcing a save from Gunners goalkeeper David Raya with his first shot in the 10th minute.

That was his first league game since December 8 when he was forced from the field in the 52nd minute of Leicester's 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion, and five days before that stalemate, Ndidi hit the target against West Ham, meaning he has registered a shot on target in two of his last three Premier League matches at the King Power.

Team Booking Points - Brentford Under 19.5

Brentford have received the fewest yellow cards of any club in the Premier League this season with their closest rivals in that regard, Manchester City (44), picking up eight more cautions than the Bees (36).

With Betfred, a yellow amounts to 10 booking points, a straight red to 25, and dismissal for two bookable offences to 35. The Bees have been shown one straight red, to captain Christian Norgaard in a goalless draw at Everton on November 23 - and that was later rescinded - meaning they have been awarded a total of 395 booking points in 2024/25, averaging 15.8 per game.

  • Brentford have received fewest yellow cards (36) in 24/25 PL
  • 395 booking points in 24/25 PL - averaging 15.8 per game
  • 1 yellow in reverse fixture v Leicester

The Bees went under 19.5 booking points last weekend with their only yellow awarded to Mikkel Damsgaard in the 32nd minute at the London Stadium, and this selection was been a winner in November's reverse fixture at the Gtech as only Keane Lewis-Potter was disciplined for the hosts.
