Leeds vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction: 5/1 Kudus to make an impact

After fulfilling their Champions League duties midweek, Tottenham Hotspur travel to Elland Road on Saturday lunchtime to face Leeds United (12:30 BST, live on TNT Sports 1).

The hosts will be seeking a first home league win since the opening weekend, while Spurs are looking to snap a run of successive stalemates. Read on for my Leeds vs Tottenham Hotspur predictions, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

Leeds winger Dan James will be absent for a few weeks after suffering an ankle injury in training, while Harry Gray - brother of Spurs' Archie - is a doubt for Saturday's contest with a hip problem.

Sean Longstaff will retain his place in the engine room, and Karl Darlow will continue between the sticks as Lucas Perri has only just returned to first-team training.

As for Spurs, Dominic Solanke recently underwent ankle surgery and will join the likes of James Maddison, Radu Dragusin, Kota Takai, Yves Bissouma and Dejan Kulusevski in the treatment room.

Randal Kolo Muani will be hopeful of featuring this weekend as he has a dead leg and will be assessed prior to kick-off.

Leeds are 15/8 to pick up all three points on Saturday, while Spurs are 6/4 to do the same, giving them an implied win probability of 40%, and the draw is a 12/5 shot.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin currently tops the anytime goalscorer market at 13/8, along with Richarlison and over 2.5 goals is an odds-on chance at 10/11.

Tottenham made a bright start to life under Thomas Frank, but things seem to have plateaued slightly in recent weeks.

Since the 1-0 over Villarreal in September, Spurs have shared the spoils in three of their last four matches across all competitions, and an ever-growing injury list isn't helping matters.

A scrappy affair in Norway on Tuesday could also have an effect on the side, so the draw certainly appeals at 12/5.

Leeds have made a decent start to the season after their promotion from the Championship, and will start the weekend in 12th spot in the table. Daniel Farke's men have drawn three of their seven matches this term, so backing another stalemate here looks a sensible play.
