A hotly contested League Two returns this weekend with a full fixture list, and we’ve taken a look at the action to pick out an accumulator for Saturday’s action.

League Two Accumulator Tips

  • Crewe Alexandra to beat Salford City @ 11/5
  • Walsall to beat Sutton United @ 13/8
  • Notts County to beat Barrow @ 21/20

Treble pays 17/1

Crewe Alexandra to beat Salford City @ 11/5

This outside pick to start off the treble comes with good reasoning. Few expected Crewe Alex to be challenging near the top of the table when the season began in August, but they’ve lost just once and now sit third. It’s been a wonderful start to life in the dugout for former player Lee Bell and now there are genuine hopes of a promotion charge.

Next up for them is a tough trip to Salford City, who have started the season slowly, but won their last two games. If Crewe can go there and get all three points, they will go from outsiders to genuine automatic promotion contenders. With the belief and away performances we’ve seen from them already this season – the price of 11/5 seems too generous.

Walsall to beat Sutton United @ 13/8

Sutton are in a bit of a sticky patch. They now sit rock bottom of the Football League having won just one of their 11 matches so far, and they’ve lost their last two without scoring. Their defence is clearly a glaring issue, given they’ve conceded 26 goals so far this term, and for the first time since promotion, manager Matt Gray is coming under fire.

Walsall are by no means spectacular this term, but they are far superior to this Sutton outfit. Currently sat in 13th, they held MK Dons to a 0-0 draw last time out and won their last away match at Bradford. Another away win is on the cards here.

Notts County to beat Barrow @ 21/20

This is a tough test for the league leaders, but I’m still bullish in the ability of their squad. There aren’t going to be many games where Notts County are above EVS this season if they continue this form and up against Barrow this is certainly not an easy outing. However, Barrow have lost two of their last three and County simply can’t stop scoring.

12 goals in their last three matches make them one of the most entertaining outfits in League Two and so far, only Morecambe have stopped them scoring this season. They should find the net at least once here, and secure another three points.
