Cambridge vs Accrington Stanley Odds

Cambridge, having taken 21 points from 10 home league games, are 4/6 to maintain that superiority with Accrington 9/2 to spring the surprise. The hosts have drawn six of their last eight matches in all competitions and it is 5/2 for this one to end all-square as well.

Seven of Cambridge’s last nine matches have gone under 2.5 goals and that is available at 8/13, with both teams to score - a bet that has landed in four Accrington's last six away league games - a 6/5 chance.

Team News

Cambridge remain without Shayne Lavery, Michael Morrison, Shane McLoughlin and Dominic Ball, while Zak Bradshaw and Kylian Kouassi are unlikely to feature following their recent spells on the sidelines.

Accrington are missing the services of Charlie Hall, Kelsey Mooney and Freddie Sass, while Liam Coyle and the influential Tyler Walton are injury doubts.

Cambridge to win to nil @ 11/8

Cambridge tend to be embroiled in low-scoring encounters - seven of their last nine games have featured two or fewer goals - and defensive discipline is the mantra of manager Harris.

The U’s excel at home, where they are unbeaten in nine matches since the start of September with seven wins, and they can grind their way past Accrington.

Cambridge have kept six clean sheets in their last 10 matches and those stubborn qualities could frustrate Stanley, who registered only one shot on target in last weekend’s 1-0 loss at home to Bromley.

The visitors have failed to score in four of their 10 away games and they certainly look less dangerous in forward areas without the injured Walton, who has netted five times in just 10 league appearances.

Kelland Watts to score anytime @ 9/1

In what looks set to be a tight game, set-pieces could be crucial and Cambridge defender Kelland Watts represents a value bet in the anytime goalscorer market.

Watts has scored in two of his last four appearances, which includes a 13th-minute opener in a 1-1 draw with Chesterfield in their last home game, and he also had two shots, hitting the target once, in last weekend’s stalemate at MK Dons.
