Bradford vs Lincoln Prediction: Bantams to get back to winning ways

Third-placed Bradford City seek to halt a run of three consecutive League One draws against sixth-placed Lincoln City at Valley Parade on Tuesday night (19:45, Sky Sports+).

The Bantams have their eyes on top spot again with leaders Cardiff in EFL Cup action this week and could be bolstered by the return of some key attacking players after injury. Lincoln, meanwhile, are in the middle of a five-game run of away games, which began with a 1-0 defeat at Leyton Orient on Saturday. Bradford boss Graham Alexander is hopeful of welcoming back one or both of forwards Antoni Sarcevic and Stephen Humphrys after the duo missed the 1-1 draw at Stevenage last weekend.

Alex Pattison went off with an Achilles injury against Barnsley and may need a longer spell on the sidelines while fellow midfielder Bobby Pointon could miss a fourth game in a row as he recovers from a sore shoulder.  

Lincoln are sweating on the fitness of left-back Adam Reach after he hurt his ankle in training on Friday and was forced to miss the trip to Leyton Orient.

Ryley Towler looks set to deputise for him again. Defender Adam Jackson also continues to miss out, despite having been scheduled to return from his head injury on Saturday.

Lincoln’s away form has been hit and miss this term with results dependent on whether they score the first goal on the road.

They produced the better moments in Saturday’s defeat at Leyton Orient until they conceded the opener and a similar story may unfold here if they do not take their opportunities.
